Birdwood Cafe

I’ve been here a number of times, both solo and in a group. Consistently delicious coffee and really friendly, lovely staff. The avocado toast was fresh and yummy, the açai bowl was good, the Bircher muesli was a bit bland for my taste but lots of fresh fruit which was nice.

One of the best cafes in Lane Cove !!!

The staff are very attentive and greet everyone :). Their own original coffee blend is the best in the area and they offer macadamia milk, which is my go to when ordering coffee. Mochas use melted chocolate and is a great treat to start the day :).

The seating and atmosphere is lovely too, a great place to bring friends for a morning catch up!

Pleasant cafe in Lane clove, the service was friendly and attentive. The menu is quite simple, but reasonably priced and good food. Recommend if your looking for a bite in the area

My husband and I love this little cafe. It is our regular. Friendly staff, reliable coffee. Quick but not rushed. Having been to most of the many Lane Cove cafes, this is my pick! Best coffee in Lane Cove.

Ham & Egg roll with small capacuino

Only thing was ham was cold straight out of fridge.
Would have been better if ham was at room temperature or slightly heated or fried.

Good coffee and their sandwiches were a pleasant surprise, feed was decently well and fair value. Will be coming back here for sure, although it can get pretty crowded! Seatings against the counter top on the side of the cafe can be a bit awkward if you’re alone because because a stranger could sit right opposite you - but hey I guess that’s an opportunity to meet new people. Service was friendly and prompt as well, and just has a warm ambiance/atmosphere to it.

I chose Birdwood Cafe as the place to celebrate International Women’s Day for our workplace. We had a big group outside and we found it a lovely atmosphere to chat about the issues of the day.

The wait staff were really nice and took our order quickly. Our group were all happy with the food they received & the portions are generous!

I noticed there were a few people with dogs on leashes nearby so I’m guessing you could sit outside with a dog.

Parking is a bit tricky so we parked in the Coles car park.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the health bowl, Eggs Benedict and one Cappuccino. Amazing coffee and food! The dishes arrived promptly! Very friendly staff! I wish they could have more indoor seating especially on a windy or rainy day. Spotted their Surface tablet is a bit dusty as we were seated near the kitchen bench.

Fast service, seating indoor and outdoor. Most importantly great food & coffee. Latte I had was great as was the cinnamon scroll and mushroom toastie.

I had nothing but a positive experience - very good service, the seating and space was comfortable - and the food and drinks were excellent.

There is a good selection in the menu board - and they do serve very good coffee. I will gladly return here.

I had a lovely breakfast at this place, I couldn't feel the taste of the Chai in my Chai latte, so I tell one of the waitress and he offers me change it, thanks for that, so instead of Chai latte I had a Belgian Hot Chocolate, so it's a place to eat confortable, also everything on the menu can be gluten free you just have to tell it in your order, highly recommended 👌

Love Birdwood! The mushrooms on sourdough is one of my favourite dishes. Coffee tastes great too. I think it is so easy for cafes to overcharge people these days and completely take advantage, but I believe the prices at Birdwood are very fair and reasonable for what you receive which I love :)

They've worked with the space they got very nicely, outdoors and indoors sitting areas.
But the outstanding to me was the food, simple daily soups (cauliflower and potato for me) with freshly toasted bread slice. Very nicely priced and presented.
The inside sitting was a bit too compact, with seats that no one would take just because it'll be too tight, but that's probably goes well with coziness of the place.

Not only is their coffee the best in Lane Cove, but their staff are exceptional at customer service.

Great little cafe with some really interesting dishes and very well done coffee. My friend got the kale salad which looked great and I had the pork belly sandwich W/ kimchi which was so flavoursome and delicious (although probably a bit small for some people). Talked to the staff who seemed lovely as well.

Really neat place that I hope gets the business it deserves.
