The Oasis at One Mile beach

We spent a week over Christmas 2023 at The Oasis with 24 family members and it was just perfect.
We were able to have our own space in our cabins but come together on the huge deck for boardgames, cocktails, meals and our big Christmas feast.
The shared kitchen was great to prepare our large shared meals.
The staff were fabulous, friendly and very helpful with all of our needs.
I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful location.

We loved it very spacious and clean. The new owners are lovely and explained that they had only taken over a few months ago and were very nice and when I asked about doing some washing Nicky was so lovely, I put the washing and she offered to put it into the dryer and then delivered to our room. Thanks once again we loved the stay and will recommend this place good luck with everythng😀

We had such an amazing stay at The Oasis. We were desperate for accommodation with our 2 children and our dog, as the accommodation we had booked for our holiday was not all we wished it to be... The Oasis accepted our booking last minute and very late notice and with a pet. Their service was amazing, friendly, and professional. The owners and Nicky, the caretaker, went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible! The accommodation itself is good, we had everything we needed. It was cold, so we turned on the heating system immediately, and our dog was very happy with the enclosed outside area attached to the cabin. The view from our cabin was tranquil and absolutely gorgeous. We did not have the time to make use of their outside entertainment areas, but we will do so on our next visit for sure, no doubt that we will be back.

Great spot for a chilled weekend. We also had our dog with us and they have one cabin that allows this. We didn't use the well ess centre so can't say what it was like. The staff were accommodating as we checked in late. Very close to Nelson Bay and Port Stephens with plenty of beaches also near.

Fantastic place at a superb location. The cabins are spacious, clean and well maintained. The hosts were great and welcoming. Thank you, we would definitely come back.

Absolutely wonderful 3 night stay here. The setting of The Oasis is beautiful. The cabin is clean, spacious, and with what you need, and the jacuzzi is an excellent addition. The hosts really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I would highly recommend.

First off I would like to say the staff at The Oasis were one of a kind. The receptionist was super friendly and could not do enough for us. Management were fantastic. The rooms absolutely spotless. Wow what an atmosphere seeing the wild possums feeding them biscuits, hearing the koalas wow just wow what an experience. The grounds are gorgeous, we are considering it for our wedding next year. Cannot rate this place highly enough. I have had the best 2 days ever I don’t want to leave

The place is truly an "Oasis" amongst suburbia.
A great place to relax & laze around.

Nicely appointed two story cabins with a bedroom (Queen bed), kitchen, lounge & bathroom downstairs, with a large upstairs open area with a Queen bed & a couple of singles.

A large communal kitchen & & sitting area surrounded by lush vegetation, ponds, walkways a small covered rotunda over the water.

They have a small pool with spas on the back deck of two of the cabins.

The beautiful One Mile beach is only a short walk away, while Anna Bay Tavern is a 5 minute drive with great bistro meals.

Cherrie & Mark are lovely hosts & will ensure you have a great time.

Visited for an event & was fabulous- beautiful grounds & great service.
Would love to come back to stay in one of the 9 cottages.

Cherrie and Mark are amazing hosts and most helpful. I had the best sleep in years, a/c works fantastic, hot tub beautifuland and relaxing and sparkling clean. The surrounding natural environment was great therapy and location is secluded enough but so close to shopping centres restaurants and the Nelson Bay Marina, I can't wait to return.

The girl on the front desk was so nice and just couldn't do enough for us. I had a clay wrap and it was amazing. I came here many many years ago and stayed in the same place was good to see it updated. Maybe a wedding venue for us in future. Can't wait to come back

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed. Nice and calm. Surrounded by trees gives you feeling like living in deep jungle. Easy access to everything you want to visit in Nelson Bay. Cheaper, nice, clean. If I visit Nelson Bay again, I would give first preference to this hotel. Highly recommended

Mark and Cherrie offered us a comfortable separate two storey cabin in a tranquil location at One Mile Beach. It truly was an Oasis of calm serenaded by the frogs, birds and gentle noises of the night amongst the bushland. Perfect!

Home away from home! We love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere tucked away in the bush ..... relaxing! Total mind, body and soul recharge. Mark and Cherie are beautiful hosts x

We have just spent 4 of the most relaxing days ever in this beautiful resort ..The setting is beautiful ,the cabins are well appointed and have everything you need ,the hot tub was loved by all of us ..our son loved feeding the wild life we loved the massages ..we will defiantly be back fabulous staff ,fabulous setting awesome place

They are not good at answering their phones but the place is really amazing. The air is so clean and it has a great atmosphere. If you like nature, you would love this place

Absolutely beautiful perfect family holiday retreat would highly recommend visiting here for a holiday will definitely be bringing my family back for another holiday
