Easy to work with council and encourage local business and entrepreneurs. If u have any delays or probs just jump on the phone and they are quick to respond. Can't fault these hard working folks

They were literally closed at 2pm on a Thursday, and it was just a paper notice on the door saying because of COVID. Sorry we haven’t been in lockdown for nearly 6 months and there are no restrictions so really just straight up lazy. If you can’t be bothered servicing the public, aka your literal job, then at least make all payments and forms online. It’s 2022, not 1975.

My partner and I attended the Kongwack markets on Saturday.
We parked by a sign that was facing away from the direction of travel so we presumed it was a continuation of the last sign we saw regulating parking to 2h. Wrong! It was a no parking sign resulting in a $150.OO fine from the revenue collector.
This is what could only be considered a cynical cash grab by the South Gippsland Shire. If they do not want to support the efforts of those attracting visitors to the shire to spend money they should close the market.
Let Kongwack return to the moldy decaying ghost town of the past.
My message to the shire is you have lost more than the $150.00 you screwed me for. I will not be spending a cent in your area again and will spread the word. Keep an eye on social media.

Return Walter to his family ! this is a disgraceful and shameful event, and publicity is rightfully gaining a LOT of traction.

I was driving along the road from Leongatha to Mirboo North the other day and noticed the enormous amount of yellow signs stating that the 'surface was rough and uneven' dont you think it would be better to actually fix these problems properly.

If you want a collection of incompetent bozos then see Gippsland Shire Council. They euthanised Walter.

You brainless people should have thought twice before dismantling the railway line for a stupid bike trail.
