5 Stars here. Lovely easy shady walk to the waterfall. Great for photography. There is also a picnic area and toilets. Worth the visit. We'll be back.

Very leisurely, well maintained path to the Falls. Lovely example of tree fern rainforest. Plenty of car parks and toilet facilities. Must visit if in the area.

Stopped for a lunch break. Nice short scenic walk to two nice waterfalls. Worth the effort. Peaceful and easy for all

What a beautiful place to visit. The walk from the parking lot to the falls is short (5-10 mins depending on your ability) and there are two places that are must see locations.

Very family friendly with facilities for awesome picnics.

Excellent nature walk. Close to the town. The trail going to the falls is not very far. Kids friendly with playground and toilet. Shed, few picnic and BBQ table for everyone to use.

The road going inside is not a two way street so be mindful of the other vehicle along the way to the parking lot. Hiking shoes is highly recommended when walking the trail. Walking stick can be helpful during wet season.

No sign that you are not allowed to swim but do it at your own risk. There is also an unused/abandon train track within the water falls park worthy of exploring. Just be mindful of the flora and fauna of the place. Good place to rest from a long drive passing through Golconda road. An overnight camping is allowed.

No sure how this place doesn’t have 5 stars, because it’s stunning and worth seeing. The walk to the waterfall is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Don’t forget to check the top and bottom of the waterfall.

Just short drive 30km north of launceston. The playground is humble but there are plenty of good climbing trees. Bring bathers and have a swim in the base of the waterfall. Its a magical spot

If you're looking for a free camp-site with walks and waterfalls, then you have to stay at least one night here. There's flushing toilets (which even have lights on through the night), and BBQ facilities, which are very well maintained (thanks to locals). The grounds are clean, lots of birds during the day, and Quolls at night. There's bins for rubbish, and also a small playground for the kids.

As for the walk to the Falls, it's easy, not too steep and surprisingly, they're bigger than I expected, and their actually quite beautiful. Great for anyone looking to practice their long exposure photography, just the right size and position.

There's ample room for quite a few small campers and some spots already have open fire areas, so bring plenty of firewood.

I found it to be a perfect one night stay, if you're heading to the east coast area, not too mention, the locals are supper friendly in Lilydale itself.

Awesome spot, and it's free, what more could you as for... Cheers

Short walk, public bathrooms and awesome views should definitely be on your list of stops if you're passing through

Easy tranquil walk to the bottom of the Falls. My 85yo mobility impaired mum had no trouble at all. There is no entrance fee.

Really nice falls , easy to walk only 10 minutes to see both top and bottom, and after some rain it was flowing nicely! Path is not suitable for people with disabilities and if wet can be slippery but if u walk steady it can be achieved. Bottom in first photo and top in second photo

Lilydale Falls is actually two waterfalls that are a short distance from each other. The first is a walk of approximately 5 minutes and the second a couple of minutes further on.

We found the track very walkable even in the wet. It is a beautiful area, and the falls themselves were lovely. We have just had a night of solid rain, so the falls were flowing beautifully. The carpet of leaves from the autumn fall were gorgeous, and the tree ferns were stunning.

The falls are about a half an hours drive from Launceston in the Lilydale Falls Reserve.

There’s something special about waterfalls, and I, for one, can’t get enough of them. Thankfully, Tasmania has some 200+ of them. I expect we won’t see most of them but if I’m nearby I’ll visit.

Beautiful water fall even though, The rout a little bit rough and slippery have to be very careful. However, it was a wonderful place must come visit. 💕

The view opposite to the entrance there are alpaca, the mountains it was like a dream.

Absolutely beautiful. Love that it's dog friendly. Has public toilets and a playground, tables for lunch and plenty of shade. Bins too.
The railway bridge is cool, the ferns are massive, the creek sounds amazing as you walk along. The waterfalls themselves are stunning.

Short scenic walk. A couple of big steps that I managed with dodgy knees. A steep drop off on one side and very slippery so take it carefully. Well worth the visit. The sign says 5 minutes to first falls then a further 5 mins to second falls. More like 7 and 3 minutes respectively.

Great place for a stop for lunch (BBQs and toilets) or even overnight.
The falls are a short walk an good tracks but are not wheelchair accessible - though in a chair you could still get to see the rivulet and view from the bridge.
There are two falls close together and both are excellent even with only a little water flowing - more is better.

Beautiful short stroll through two sets of waterfalls, won't take more than 15 minutes on the relatively flat walk with some stairs. Just a short drive from Launceston. Camping ground on site with electrical BBQ stations and rest rooms.

Beautiful place with two small waterfalls. Nice setup to hangout with family for overnight camping. Support infra like a small play area (swing + slide) for kids, benches, barbeque place & clean toilets.
