Great local Cafe if you are driving pass Lilydale and want a bite. Simple but nice outdoor sitting. Very friendly staff and owner.
So many choices from the menu board. No matters you are a meat lover or vegetarian. Sure you will find something that suits your tummy.

German Apple cake was delicious with great coffee and friendly service. Will definitely return.

Could not fault the Bean Barrow if I tried. Super friendly service, a great and fairly-priced menu, and absolutely delicious, quality food, as well as being very accommodating to changes on meals to make them kid-friendly for my tomato-sauce-obsessed children. Highly recommend for anyone passing through as a great spot for lunch and coffee.

We stopped in here for something light and we're so glad we did.
We asked for one of the specials that was a half a sandwich and a milkshake to share. The service was exceptional as the staff took the effort to serve our shared meal on two plates and in two glasses. On top of that the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and full of taste. Now were planning a trip back to have breakfast one day.

Excellent food great service and family run business!

Had brunch here on the way to Scottsdale. It was a very busy morning and tables already booked but the owner brought out another table for us, very impressed. Great service and delicious meals. After checking out the antique shop, market and a walk to Lilydale falls, we went back and got takeaway coffee for our travels.

Yum. The special - hash stack, very special. Poached eggs to perfection. Washed down with a hot chocolate and coffee. It was really really good. Great service too.

This amazing place is my local, I'm feeling pretty fortunate 😃 The coffee is excellent and they also have a wide range of tasty menu items with gluten free and low carb options. The cakes and slices are pretty dam good too...homemade and so delicious!

We're fussy. This was truly quality food. We were amazed. Beef was first class. Great pot of strong tea. Most pleasant staff. I heard others make similar comments. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Should be able to have six stars. This pace served hot food, using fresh ingredients, and great coffee. The brekky wrap was yummy. Staff were efficient and friendly. We will return.

Best bacon & egg roll I've had in my 57 years (at a time I needed one). Cook prepared it freshly before my eyes, and happy to substitute BBQ sauce for chilli. Served on delicious, focaccia style bread, with caramelized onion.

Mike and Lyn make amazing coffee, and their food is always delicious, be it savoury or sweet. They make an effort to showcase local produce and use environmentally friendly products. Best of all, we're always guaranteed a smile when we go in

The best egg n bacon roll ever! Perfect balance of sauce,onion crispy bacon,egg + more crispy bacon. Lovely light n fresh roll. Not heavy like most places. Highly recommend.

If you are in Lilydale you need to stop at the Bean Barrow. You'll get genuine friendly service and a delicious food selection. And the coffee is fantastic! Michael and Lyn are great supporters of local small producers making much of the menu locally sourced. Great little cafe not to be missed.
