I imported a Ford Bronco from Japan and had the compliance done at Comptune. To be polite, the experience was less than ideal. Apparently the volume of cars bein imported to Australia was massive at the time, and they were under a heavy workload, however, it still took 6 months for my vehicle to pass compliance. The process was slowed down as they had to outsource repairs to subcontractors, however, the customer service, communication and several damaged parts n my vehicle once it arrived made for a very unsatisfactory experience. If you are importing an old car, I would recommend you go elsewhere, these guys do high volume new car import compliance, and aren't set up for one off vehicle imports that might need repairs or alterations done.
