Great campsite, very clean facilities. I love the individual private bathrooms! Everything you need in one place. Lovely relaxed vibe! Close to the beach, coffee shop & pub. Would highly recommend!

Beautifully kept park with flat campsites and top amenities. I particularly liked the fully fitted out camp kitchen and combined toilet/shower blocks. The owner does a fabulous job maintaining everything!

This would have to be the best park we have stayed in during our two week trip around the east side of Tasmania.
Very friendly and helpful staff, close proximity to the beach, clean, tidy and well kept grounds and there were plenty of well kept and very clean amenities throughout the park.
We were in a motor home but I would have loved to have stayed in one of the glamping tents.

Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park was an absolutely amazing experience. My partner (M28) and I (F25) stayed one night in the Glamping Tent. I am a big fan of camping, but wanted to introduce my partner to camping for the first time; as such, we settled on glamping.

The tent itself was absolutely gorgeous and ridiculously spacious. There was enough room for a large bed; a couch; a hanging stand; an aircon; a cupboard with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kitchen essentials, and a TV; a table and chair set for two; and a bin. It was so comfy and glamorous.

One thing about camping that I HATE is the bathroom situation; I worry about cleanliness and creepy crawlies while trying to go to the bathroom or shower. The bathrooms here are AWESOME and made the stay so much more comfortable and home-like.

We checked in during operating hours; but checked out early. The process for both is very easy with a lockbox outside the reception, and pretty comms through the company itself prior to your stay.

From our experience, the location is a bit far from restaurants and activities - par the beach - but that is Scamander. The closest is St Helens which has all you can need for a short 15 min drive. We parked right outside our tent too, for those coming with a car.

Our only problem is that we didn't stay long enough! Next time will definitely be more than one night!

The Glamping Tents are amazing and tidy and well set out. The bedding is very comfortable. The amenities are above and beyond clean! Matt the owner and host goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this place for anytime of year as each of the Glamping tents can be climate controlled.

Awesome experience in the 1 bedroom glamping tent, stayed 3 nights. Everything you is there. Nice beach. Well kept grounds. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly hosts running the park. The 3 bedroom Glamping tents are AMAZING! They have thought of everything, shower, toilet, all the facilities you could ever want, including coffee machine. Quick walk through the dunes to the beach. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here.

To all those average caravan parks out there, take note as to what a fabulous caravan park this is. Amazing amenities, super sized sites and very well maintained grounds and staff that make you feel welcome. 10 points and thank you Scamander Sanctury.

Stayed 5 nights at this wonderful campgrou d...the amenities were always kept spotlessly.clean & Matt was so helpful & friendly. Would definitely stay here again when we're around this area as it so close to St Helens & Bay of Fires.

This was one of the best caravan parks we’ve been to. Upon arriving the holiday park looked very well managed and clean. The amenities are very well taken care of and clean and it’s very nice having a beach access. Every time I was walking around I noticed matt taken care of everything and going all out to make the place great. Wonderful park and will definitely be coming back

It was lovely being met by Matt's smiling face and kind and caring manner, a real asset to the holiday park. The campsites are large and flat, the ammenities are very modern and clean. It's in a great location with a lovely walk down to the beach. I would highly recommend this campground. Keep up the fabulous work. Thanks Matt for the help getting me a fire barrel.

A fantastic place! We loved the glamping tent and all the facilities it offered - only qualm was the double bed was pretty hard but that’s being picky. All was great

We had an amazing stay in one of the Safari glamping tents, wish we stayed for more than just one night. The tent is super cozy and filled with anything you'd need, from cooking utensils to towels, even shampoo, conditioner etc. Better than most hotels tbh. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, highly recommend!

Wow, you will definitely get more value than what you pay for when staying here.

I'm solo travelling & free camp mostly. But l decided to book here due to the great reviews on Wikicamps. I stayed 3n (midweek special pay for 2, stay for 3) in my c'van.

I was so surprised to find that this place offers Glamping tent accommodation on one side of the road and a caravan park on the other.
The C'van Park has super clean private ensuites & park facilities, is secure, has x-large camp sites, and is dog friendly. Easy walk to the beach or to town.
The onsite managers are to be commended on being such hard-working, friendly people.
I highly recommended this accommodation whilst in Scamander!

Safari tent with the kids was such a great experience, everything you need but in a tent, in a serene location surrounded by wildlife and a fantastic beach within minutes walk. Great location and price.
Nothing was a problem for the friendly staff, will definitely be back.

Lovely stay!
I stayed here alone for 2 nights.
I changed my booking before I got there from 1 to 2 nights and the owner happily applied the mid week 2 night special for me.
He was friendly and his 2 dogs are super cute!
I saw some cool birds and some bandicoots when sitting on my little deck.
I stayed in the glamping tent and wow, it has everything!
I loved the heated blankets and the heat pump, a microwave kettle and sink etc was great so I didn't have to leave my tent for essentials. But use of the full kitchen was great for cooking meals.
A short walk to the isolated beach was awesome, thru trees and critters running around.
I felt safe and relaxed here!
Highly recommend to anyone staying on the east coast of Tasmania.
Easy access in and out with gate code and simple check out.

We stayed for 3 nights in our caravan. I highly recommend a stay here. The amenities were fantastic, a great camp kitchen and well maintained park as well as friendly service.
