Swims East Coast Coffee

We were on our way from St Helens for our drive up to Scamander and came across this place a cleverly used converted shipping container. Excellent coffee, staff and a very different ambience.

Coffee is nice. Frittata could have been warmed more. Fun music. Nice view.

I can highly recommend Swims East Coast Coffee as a must stop spot for coffee, cake or toasty! The coffee is delicious and the toasties are delicious! All the staff are super friendly and always have a smile! The venue/seating area is super cool and unique. This is absolutely nothing I can complain about! It has to be a 5 out of 5 stars from me! Definitely will be returning here again!

The place was adorable and transformed from an old shipping container, sits on the slope overlooking the ocean. Beautiful scenery if you dine in and look out from the bar, but we had to get a takeout so that was a pity. The staff is friendly and accommodates special orders, we appreciate that a lot!

Best coffee on the east coast. My son was so impressed with the art on his hot chocolate each day. The muffins are absolutely delicious. Such a great little set up with very welcoming staff.

We were sceptical about getting a decent coffee in Scamander, but we hit the jackpot with this gem. Ran by a two young men in what looks like a converted shipping container they brew up Paradox beans to perfection. Flavours are spot on & the coffee presented perfectly every time. Loved the laid back ambience inside & outside on the lawn where you can kick back & relax & watch the waves

What a fantastic find in this sleepy little seaside town. Swims East Coast Coffee is located in a converted shipping container overlooking the ocean. The coffee and chai tea were fantastic as was the brownie. We enjoyed sitting at the big window looking at the view while having our afternoon tea. The barista/waitress was so friendly and welcoming.

You MUST stop here, seriously this is the best coffee ever and the muffins were just as good (the super large crunchy muffin top blew my mind). The staff are friendly, the seats are comfy, and when it is sunny try grab a beanbag out front and relax with your fresh brew! Some of the nicest decaf coffee we’ve ever had too. Highly recommend, do yourself a favour on your travels or stay in the town and stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Cute little place with a small menu. Staff are lovely and it’s priced well. Coffee is very decent.

Doggos and coffee in a shipping container. How good! The boys who have recently taken over have amazing service. We were referred here from a Scamander local who told us "best coffee on the East Coast" - definitely worth dropping in!

Delicious coffee and local bake goods. Love the ability to sit out side and enjoy the view of the beach. This place is a must to stop on your way to the Bay of Fires.

Just one word; amazing. Should you want to enjoy your coffee with a view - this is the place to visit. I loved the setup.

Coffee could be a little bit better, but the place is nonetheless amazing. All of the food looked gorgeous but unfortunately I didn't try any. Sitting inside with a view at the ocean:)

What a fantastic place! I would definitely recommend stopping by. Folks behind the counter are really nice and friendly. They've got the feel of the place just right, a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Coffee is good too!

Cool little spot with a great outlook and a nice patch of grass to relax on. Good coffee and brilliant staff. Will came back.

Driving past this place?? Definitely stop for a coffee or a toasties. Nice coffee with two options for toastie . I had the mushroom one and loved it . This is a container converted to cafe , more than the beautiful sun outside I enjoyed time inside with nice breezes.

The only cafe that we went twice in our short trip in Tassie, cool place, great for hanging out on a lazy morning……and follow by fishing! 😅

They serve true Aussie toasties

We are taking our time exploring the east coast of Tasmania and this is the best coffee you’ll see outside of the major cities hands down! Delicious coffee, beautiful space. Go out of your way to give these guys a visit!

What a gorgeous little space packed with huge warmth and delicious coffee. Both the batch brew and flat white were flavorful and worth savoring every sip of.
