This was Wine Glass Bay at Freycinet National Park. We hiked 1000 stairs to get down to the beach in February. The water was freezing but the beauty was worth every step!

Great beaches but extremely cold. Beautiful rocks, but we had to drive to a few place, because it scatter all over the area.

Beautiful with the white sandy beaches, the rocks with the red lichen are something so special. The water was too cold for us to go swimming and there was quite a cold wind. But it didn't matter. Just seeing it was amazing.
Went to the Gardens early in the morning to beat the crowds

This area is just stunning: white sand, multicolored boulders, clear blue water, etc. I fell in love with this place & I didn’t even have much time to explore so I’ll definitely be back again. I spent most of my time taking photos & just sitting on the rocks asking myself if this is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to. Loved it!

WOW, nature on overload. This coastline is spectacular and extremely colourful.
Bay of Fires is located at the northern end of the east coast of Tasmania. It is a spectacular coastline, full of beauty and colour. It extends 26 nautical miles from Binalong Bay to Eddystone Point.
Most would think it was named for its’ orange rocks, I did. It was named by Captain Tobias Furneaux in 1773 due to the fires from the Aboriginal camps he saw burning along the coastline. He sailed this coastline on the HMS Adventure on his way to rendezvous with Captain James Cook.
The coastline has pristine white sand, which is derived from the granite bedrock that is predominant in northeast Tasmania.
The orange hue of the rocks is a combination of lichens, algae & fungus that form a symbiotic relationship.
The white sand gives rise to sapphire blue water, which is crystal clear and COLD. It looks so inviting but you know it’s going to be freezing. However, there is a very small percentage of the population who seem to like swimming in these waters. Each to their own ;-)
There are numerous camp sites throughout the Bay of Fires, and from what I have seen, they are all beautiful. Some are National Park and require a Parks Pass + payment for camping. Others are free and 28 day max stay. We stayed at Swimcart beach for free, and it was a stunning waterfront site with its’ own private beach access. WOW I’m in awe of this place – it’s amazing!

Bay Of Fire is quite big. The Gardens which lies in bay of fire is beautiful. This place has been named The Gardens because of the beautiful flowers that blooms in this area. I am not sure which time of year they bloom. There is lot to see more than just flower. You can check my photos and if you don't lost in memories where you take yourself to that place in photos than i will quit reviewing places. Photo is speaking for itself so i rest here. Enjoy!!!

Phenomenal. You just have to see it in person to appreciate the coastal beauty of this area. 25min to The Garden from St Helens then just 'stop in' to the little beach access roads along the way back to Binalong Bay. A warning though, these gravel access roads are badly pot-holed. Slow and steady in hire cars. 4WD no problems I am sure. Water is very fresh - 10C in mid Jan. Take a wetsuit and have fun!

The views you are surrounded by will amaze you, the water is clear and really nice to swim in. White sand that squeaks under your feet. Beautiful area to visit with toilets within walking distance😁

The day when we visit this amazing place the sea was really impressive.
The rute that google maps give us was wrong.
If you want to arrive there you don’t need to go to the farm. You need to stay on the way until you can see the amazing Bay of fires .

Scenic area, made a couple of stops along the bay for photos. Sands are soft and white, very clear water and stones have a beautiful colour on it. Definitely worth a visit!

Very beautiful place. Just loved how the red and blue contrast between the rock and sky can make eveyrthing so beautiful.
Super peaceful place, water was a little too cold to swim.

Gorgeous coastline. The sand is white, water clear and headlands are made up of massive, rounded boulders many of which have a red colouring. The are campgrounds and day use areas dotted along the coast.

Beautiful part of the Tasmanian East coast, we rushed from Wine Glass Bay to take in a late afternoon setting and it didn't disappoint. This area would be spectacular at sunrise. Well worth the drive and check out the sunset at Taylor's beach if your there late. It's breathtaking ☀🥰
