Tabitha Hill Estate - Cottage & Homestead

Enjoyed our stay. All of us including the two dogs were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stock with cooking equipment and more importantly a tea pot. Hosts were there to greet us and had turned the air-con on so we could be toasty warm.
We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the cottage, a nice cottage and pet friendly with a fenced area out front for the dog. A couple of simple things let it down like firewood that wouldn't burn, and a single spare loo roll.

It was so lovely to stay in this quaint little cottage. From the authentic period plates cabinet on entry, to the creaky floor boards under the carpet. All the quirks made this accommodation feel homely and comfortable. It was clean and fresh (with the exception of a few little spiderwebs here and there on the paneling, but that is understandable in a rural area in summer in Australia!), nice simple linen and basic furniture that was not pretentious or overwhelming for small children and our very large dog. The owners left us a beautiful bottle of red wine and they were so friendly and welcoming. The location was great and it was easy to check in and out. The kitchen was well equipped and when the TV was discovered to be broken, it was replaced very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay with a family and beloved pets in the Hunter Valley.
