Little Fish Cafe Restaurant Vineyard

Got given a voucher to dine here and finally got a chance to use it , wasnt sure what to expect having never dined at a French restaurant before , but was I was pleasantly surprised, I was expecting tiny servings of each dish but the serving sizes were pretty big , we decided to get the 3 course meal , the crepes were amazing ! We were so full after starters and our main we couldn’t fit in dessert so got that takeaway . The glass of red I had was so good , we left full and happy and we will definitely be back

What a wonderful gem of a place. Beautiful setting in the vineyard. Vianne our waitress was very helpful and bubbly. We had a three course dinner with cocktails to start and wine each course. The French cuisine was delicious. Lovely evening we were thrilled.

Late post but still posting my review. We moved to Port around April and we've only been trying out some place. Some are good and some aren't. This one is good! Very good place to get a meal. The beef cheek is to Die for as well as the French Onion Soup, had a special pasta that day as well which was really good! Service wise, it's one of the most pleasant experience I had in a restaurant here in Port Macquarie. Went there a bit earlier but I reckon it can packed full of people, well of course not until the restrictions are lifted.

Delicious food. There was a set menu but my dairy free needs were perfectly catered for. Delightful jazz style live music playing as well that was not too loud and very enjoyable. Suggest getting up and having a little walk around as the winery and the big trees on site are gorgeous too. You feel like your miles away from port macquarie but its so close. Our waitress was so friendly and made our night an absolute pleasure. Plenty of dessert options although we were both so full. Even though the place was quite busy we were attended to efficiently and the food was fresh. Thanks heaps Little Fish. Will be back.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Little Fish on Friday. My husband had Kangaroo Steak and I had Pasta Carbonara both of which we can recommend. We started with share Bruschetta & Summer Wine on the beautiful veranda overlooking the vineyard. Could not want or wish for more........

I'm at pains to hand out 5 star reviews,but Little Fish deserve one.

We attended in 2 large groups, made up of a table of 9 and a table of 11. This is never easy to manage in hospitality but the wait team did a wonderful job. Our orders were all taken smoothly and efficiently.

The food was excellent I had the Kangaroo which was prepared beautifully and tasted the same. All our meals were well received

On leaving the restaurant I discovered I'd left my expensive sunglasses at the restaurant. My partner called to see if they had found them and they had. Not only did they find them but they then arranged to have them returned to me. Again while many are prepared to give 5 star reviews to a fish and chipper who doesn't forget their calamari you have to ask is that 5 star service, NO, this is!

5 stars should be for an exceptional experience and we found little fish to deliver this.

To Angela and her wonderful staff, we would like to thank them for helping make our wedding day so special. A good time was had by all, and all our guest commented on the great service, excellent food and beautiful surroundings.
We would recommend the Little Fish Cafe restaurant for any special occasion or a great meal.

Amazing food, totally enjoyed our lunch! The ambience , the view, the service, the menu and the wine all just perfect. Highly recommend, we cannot wait to return.

This restaurant is a little gem in Port Macquarie. The food was excellent. We had escargots and boulibasse. Tasted so good. Love the ambiance too. It felt so peaceful and authentic

The food is absolutely delicious 😋. Atmosphere is fantastic, staff accommodating and very helpful. Make sure you have a big appetite as meals are aplenty. The vineyard's wines are a perfect combination with this beautiful setting and French cuisine. Friday nights they have live music for no extra charge and they are actually talented. Make a booking, you won't regret it.

We were a party of sixteen including 5 younger ones celebrating a 70th birthday. The venue, food and service could not have been better. And being a Friday night there was live music and a dance floor too, which gave the whole restaurant a fantastic atmosphere. We danced, laughed and enjoyed ourselves immensely. And the price is very reasonable. Fantastic!!

My colleague recommended this place for us to try and it did not dissapoint!

They have a french chef so no wonder the food is really good!😋
Serving is good and we enjoyed everything from entrée, mains and dessert.
Best value for money is their 2 course meal (entrée + mains)
Beautiful setting, nice views of the vineyard plus amazing and friendly staff.

You can read the stories of who these people are but my own experience will tell you that they are so hospitable in every sense of the word. Me and my gf booked the table twice and they were happy to assist with the refund immediately. We booked a dinner without tasting and they were happy to add tasting to the dinner with no charge and at our own desired pace. You would otherwise expect someone to say that you need to order drinks instead of asking for tasting, or you need to pay for it, but they didn’t say any of these things. All they did was trying to accommodate our needs and help us have a nice evening. You need to have a big heart and have the word ‘hospitality’ guide your every move to be able to do what they do. But such a nice place and such a nice evening.

It goes without saying the food offerings place Little Fish Cafe amongst the top dining options in Port Macquarie, already with unequalled ambience, but the addition of the Little Fish Cafe Band simply improves upon a dining experience already unequalled in Port Macquarie.
I cannot heap sufficient praise not only on the food offerings, but also the ambience created with the addition of live music on an already
memorable experience.

Such a lovely venue. Excellent meal and such good service. Staff were very accommodating to our needs. Will definitely visit again when in Port Macquarie. Highly Recommend!

We went to Little Fish as a large family & it was such a gorgeous lunch! Really relaxed & beautiful french food. We could pay as we ordered so no stress of splitting the bill at the end. The staff are lovely too! We had a birthday cake & for extra they put on plates for us with cream & kiwi coulis. We can't wait to go back. I think it's going to be a regular spot for us now! x

Great little surprise, on a rainy afternoon, in a small winery 15 mins from Port Centre. French inspired with a French chef, using local produce and wines from the winery. The food was cooked with care and the service was good, if a little rusty, after lockdown. We shared the mussels, accompanied with a Semillon (very good). For mains we had the duck confit with a fig reduction and the seafood Bouillabaisse (local Shiraz). Both excellent. For dessert we shared honey, macadamia cheesecake (with their fortified semillon). Sitting on the verandah of the old farmhouse was a delight.

Very happy with our first experience here! We felt very welcomed by the friendly service, enjoyed a - beautifully presented - delicious and tasty meal in a gorgeous venue and left with some good wine bottles. I call this a win! Lol
The only regret is not having anymore room in my stomach to try any dessert! Will definitely be back

beautiful little winery which we happened to stumble across for lunch. the service was very nice and accommodating. we were a bit late for lunch but they were nice enough to fit us in.
the mussels we ordered for entre and the chicken we ordered for the mains were brilliant both in the plate and the palate!

Had the wine tasting with a cheese platter followed by specials entree gnocchi and entree mussels with garlic butter The meals were lovely and well priced. Wines we tasted went down well with the cheese platter and were nice. Staff were friendly and helpfull.
