A big shout out to Mel in the Telco section for sorting out my Telco issues. They need 2 of you there, Mel. People are queuing up to deal with you. To be fair Good Guys has heaps of good staff members, I have always been impressed with the service there.

Mel and Scott from the Good Guys in Port Macquarie are amazing, I was not completely happy with my new white goods I had just purchased. Nothing was a problem for them and they were happy to refund and they helped me make a better choice more suitable for my needs. Thank you Good Guys. Hi there ... I just spent over 45 mins at the Port Macquarie store trying to sort out SMS to activate my $20 storecash entitlement .. The store admin staff were excellent, but Alex (from sales) tried for over 40 mins to work out why my phone's SMS was not receiving the Store's SMS (absolute champion) ... It ended up with the store manager providing me with a $20 discount on my purchase of a pedestal fan ... 10 out 0f 10 for everyone I came in contact with today ... WELL DONE.

I contacted The Good Guys last week to purchase a white goods item and immediately had excellent service. Melissa and her coworker were absolutely brilliant, kind, Understanding and above all friendly.

Best prices on tech stuff in town. Once you add shipping costs, even most online tech stores work to be the same price or worse. The customer service is adequate... Some employees are more knowledgeable/tech savvy than others.

I was looking to purchase a hair straightener as a present for a "friend".
I was taken aback by the large & extensive array of different models available, it was clear that I needed some assistance...& desperately.
I enquired & was quickly advised that Craig was the man to speak to. He didn't appear to be in the store. Somehow the forces at will, managed to contact him.
It was happened to be his day off as he was recovering from surgery from the previous day. But when he heard that his. services were being sort after, he actually got dressed in full battle uniform & came into the store like a soldier.
His vast, in-depth knowledge of hair products & the like were astounding. He was even reciting off the serial numbers, memorised like his own phone number & the date of his wedding anniversary.
It was clear why he is the manager of this fine establishment,
as he wasn't reading from tech & data sheets,
trying to bamboozle me with the usual "sales spiels".
I could tell he had thoroughly used the products himself.
He even offered me a discount on an Epilady, the same model. that he told me "could take a beating" when he used to do triathlons. I kindly thanked him for his offer & said "maybe next time".
As the old saying goes
"The customer is always right".
Well my friends, I think we can all put that "chestnut" to bed,
at least on this occasion.
I was overwhelmed in a sea of consumer products, amassed to the ceiling, the walls coated in choice & beyond, I was someone clearly struggling to breathe, like a fish out of water, gasping to come up for air. (Ok, slight exaggeration for cinematic effect :)

But alas, Craig was right.
Right there for his customers, right there with knowledge &. information.
I couldn't have asked for better service, from a man so committed to his customers & "in love" with his job.

So lucky I met Steve at the good guys.I went looking for a fridge ASAP for Christmas as ours got broken and he showed the best options for myself and my children.Not only that he was very professional, he mainly was a very kind human helping me to have the fridge I wanted,I was able to pay with afterpay and he organised the delivery for me for the next day early morning as he understood we had not fridge for a while.Thank you Steve and the manager of the store in Port for the kidness.Finally my children and I had a fridge for Christmas.I will be back for the next purchases.

I ordered a gas bbq not knowing that I picked one that connects to mains. Fortunately the staff contacted me, fixed my order and refunded the difference. I was very impressed by this and would like to thank them for not leaving me with a useless appliance and being considerably worse off financially. This level of service and attention to detail is not common. Will be definitely be returning when purchasing an appliance.

Always great customer service when we go to The Good Guys in Port Macquarie but yesterday they outdid themselves. Last year we made a purchase and were meant to get a cash back. So when we were in there yesterday I asked them about it. The staff looked into it for us without any judgement or annoyance that you would get in other places. The manager, Craig was called over and honoured the instore credit. Thank you all so much

Jenna and the girls who took my call were great to deal with along with the electrical salesman, warehouse staff and management that got our issue resolved same day.
