Costa Rica Motel, South West Rocks

Stayed for 5 nights March. Beautiful stay. Queen bed super comfy!! Plenty room in room #10. Couch comfy. Rooms done up nicely, clean, immaculate in presentation. Good strong shower hot water pressure. Could hear people in next room quite loud at night & early morn. Used pool couple times, nice to cool down after travelling around. Great location - close to drive to everything. South west rocks has beautiful beaches & plenty sightseeing, sunsets & sunrises stunning spots! Little bay beach gorgeous little cove for sunrise & roos come out around 9-9.30am. Love Trial Bay Beach for spending the day, calm lagoon areas or Waves. Gorgeous sunrise if drive to end of caravan park under Trial Bay Goal- sit on the big rock & watch sun go down over ocean. Everything shuts super early, so be prepared with dinner ahead of time!
Love the QR codes they have for each topic eg places to eat, hotel info etc - easy understanding & accessible.
All the staff were fantastic, very obliging & always willing to help, providing extra towels, good nightly rates, accomodating extensions, complimentary water bottles, made up room during stay, really looked after me. Perfect extras for what's needed for short stay (toaster, kettle, m/wave, toiletries - toothbrush, soaps). OJ is new with his family as manager and was friendly and willing to assist wherever possible. The original gentleman i booked with (i apologise your name slipped my mind) was kind, professional and welcoming, giving me a good deal & accomodating my last minute travels. A big thank you!. Appreciate all your assistance & was an absolute pleasure chatting with you all & staying . Thank you to all of you for looking after me! Wouldnt hesitate to return & recommend to any traveller!

This hotel was very surprising.. The rooms were extremely clean and had everything that we needed for a one night stay.. Toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and even a few biscuits. They even throw in complimentary bottles of water which was great on a road trip.. The shower was roomy with great water pressure as well.. Would definitely stay here again..

Clean rooms and friendly manager in a great location. There hasn't been much done in years so the facilities are dated but will new owners hopefully that will change as there is great potential. We will be staying again and look forward to seeing the new restaurant opening soon.

Stopped here for the night from Sydney heading to the Gold Coast.

We booked direct and saved about 10% when compared to hotel booking services. When booking, there was an option to select an ‘arrive after 6pm option’. At about 5pm the day of arrival, we received a phone call confirming our arrival time and letting us know how to access the safe and collect the room key.

The motel grounds are lovely and well maintained. The room had everything we needed and very clean. We had a lovely sleep in a comfortable bed.

There’s a cute coffee cart at the front of the motel that makes superb coffee.

The personalised, warm and welcoming service makes this place an extra special spot when passing through South West Rocks.

Clean, tidy, friendly! And a decent shower rose at a sensible height, power points in the right place, everything works! A pleasure to stay there.

good motel with clean and well-equipped room. The little fridge in room 3 screams from time to time though. Other than that, everything else's great.

Beautiful Motel in beautiful South West Rocks. Plenty of facilities including BBQ, Swimming pool, Squash court are added bonus on staying :) Beach, golf court, country club and many other attractions in 10 mins drive from this motel.

Rooms clean and nicely decorated.
Customer service is amazing! Reception had a chat with us, and because we were from interstate, they were very friendly and gave us advice about local tourist spots and good places to eat.
As the town isn't very big, we weren't that far from the main street.
Very good value for money. I definitely would stay here again!!

Stayed for 4 nights with my family, neat and tidy rooms nice and quiet, very clean and kid friendly, Thankyou.

We were greeted by friendly staff , the motel was easy to find . Parking right out front of unit . The room itself was very clean, a good size and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

We were warmly welcomed after a very long days driving. The room was scrupulously clean, light and bright and very quiet for our early sleep. The breakfast box was very reasonably priced and fitted our needs before another long drive. The private outside sitting area was a bonus. We appreciated the comfy bed and sensible pillows, not those overstuffed ones for fashion rather than comfort.
A truely decent rest stop run well.

Friendly & efficient reception staff.
Large open grounds are situated at the back with barbecue & pool.
Bathroom to still be updated otherwise room fine.
Having a sink in the room & 2.bedside reading lights something we like in a motel room.

Decided to stay here one night as a stop-over due to the positive reviews. Was warmly welcomed and helped with good local info . The room was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Everything worked well - shower, air conditioning, TV etc. Had a great night's sleep and will definitely stay here again, probably for a few days next time. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast pack was very convenient and well priced. The on-site restaurant does great pizza. I would stay here any time

Beautifully presented and clean rooms, have stayed in a few of their rooms and can not fault any. We visit South West Rocks regularly and this is by far the best We have found. Well done, awesome service, comfort and value. Oh and the friendly magpie that might drop in and say hi of a nice morning. Can’t get much better.

We recently spent 2 nights at the Costa Rica Motel & we could not fault a thing. The owners are very helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms are modern, exceptionally clean and functional. Will definitely book again on our next visit to South West Rocks.

Outstanding motel accommodation & great,outgoing friendly staff. South West Rocks is a slice of heaven so if in need of accommodation whilst visiting I strongly suggest you stay here.They hold an extremely high standard and the room's & facilities are beautiful,spotlessly clean & all have everything you you could possibly need or wish for.

We were impressed with how clean our room was and really down to detail. Thank you for a comfortable stay! It was a quick one night for us but it’s nice to know where we can come back to.

Wonderful stay, clean comfortable rooms, lovely management and the bed was heaven. Cannot recommend the CR Motel, run by Tiffany and her family highly enough. Better still there is a pool and Pilot Pizza restaurant on site which was awesome. 10 stars
