Malt & Honey Cafe

Recently stayed in South West Rocks & this was by far my favourite place to dine. I had coffee, fresh juices a vege stack & my favourite the acai bowl which I went back to have a 2nd time. All staff were very attentative & inviting which was lovely to have such great all round service from both front & back of house workers. Highly reccomend 😊

The service, views and food here are all 5 star. Our waitress was so lovely and offered to check on our food after waiting probably only 10 minutes. We declined because the service was actually very quick! The views are beautiful and the food is amazing. We ordered two meals plus coffee and add-ons, and it only came to just under $55. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Each day of our holidays we stopped by Malt & Honey to grab a coffee and a bite to eat.

We loved it, the staff were super friendly and the coffee was great! It was right on the beach which made it feel like our local. We will definitely be back.

I came into malt and honey for a late breakfast to which they catered to my needs perfectly, as I was a little late after the designated breakfast without hesitation they quickly and beautifully put together one of the most spectacular big breakfasts I have received in terms of looks, taste and of course they did all this with a smile. Thanks so much malt and honey and especially the chefs and customer service representatives that provided me with a spectacular experience.

Went for breakfast, was Absolutely wonderful! We all enjoyed our meals, service was delightful and both drinks and meals were prepared quite quickly. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, great tasty food and chilled vibe. Alfresco seating which is puppy friendly, important in a town where everyone seems to own a dog. Good selection in the menu over breakfast and lunch.

Have great gluten free options available and very accomodating and aware of coeliacs. The chef even told me he used separate tongs 💕💕 the cashier was very understanding and wrote down I was a coeliac. Very very impressed and will be coming back to support this cafe again. Amazing coffee too 10/10!!!!

Fantastic breakfast. This was the bruschetta- 2 pieces of sour dough, piled high with toppings $10! Added some bacon. Coffee divine. Lovely breeze from the beach and service excellent.

Great local, lovely staff. We only had cake and coffee, both very nice.

What a find. Great food options, service was good, and pricing excellent. The barra was real (not farmed), and the Thai salad were both cooked to perfection. I'd visit there every week if I lived in the area. Well done.

Best place for breakfast in South West Rocks. I had the veggie stack and every mouthful was so good. Kids ate every bite of their pancake stack.
Coffee was so good, it’s my go to place for take aways while on holidays.

The service and food was fantastic. Came with my friend who is coeliac and the server gave confidence that the kitchen could accommodate. They had a separate fryer for gluten free meals. Great value for money.

The view, service, staff and omg the food. The smoked salmon ceasar salad wih egg. A good size serving and not a bowl of cos lettuce. Parmesan cheese, fresh croutons real bacon bits..drooling just thinking about it..

I gave this place a 5 star simply because of the Barista named Rachel. I walked in and her greeting, smile and bubbly personality was amazing and outstanding. She should receive a customer service award of some kind. I've never felt so welcome. I recently sold my Cafe in Ararat, Victoria of 10 staff and I would have employed her in less than a second! Great work Rachel. You are a gem to this business.

Nice little Cafe centrally located near the beach with views to the coast. Options for indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu provided for a variety of dining options and offered fresh produce. The coffees were delicious and made to the correct temperature. Highly recommend this place as an option for breakfast.

Great cafe, come here every time we go to south west rocks. Awesome coffee, friendly service and tasty food.
One thing I will say, new açai bowl is delicious however, for the price there should be more açai in my opinion. Serve was a little small for the price tag. But was delicious so would get again, would just ask for more açai.
