Preston Manor & Village Chapel

What a wonderful spot to spend a Sunday for lunch and afternoon. We arrived around 12:30 and although the carpark was full we got a nice shady park on the verge. This place is great for gatherings, this place is set-up for catering to large groups or in our case just two. We had the roast and because there were a couple of large orders in before us the Materdea brought us a snack of lovely grapes. The roast was lamb and so tender you needn't have chewed it. Great views are to be had from inside or outside. Had a great live band keeping us entertained with their music. Highly recommend this place to getaway from everything. 👍👍👍

I had the most delightful experience with my friend today . The venue is exquisite, we felt welcomed and personally catered for. We ate the most beautiful vegan pizza and mouth watering garlic mushrooms. Our meal was accompanied by the amazing FarSide blues band. A place to visit if you haven’t done so yet.

It was a delight to visit again after some time. The new owners have brought a fresh perspective and it is very enjoyable.

After our hike through Gorman's Gap, we arrived soaked to the skin, but the sky cleared enough to make it lovely to sit outside and dry off while we ate our tasty breakfast.

The staff were attentive and friendly, the orders were out in a timely fashion and the food was well presented and tasted delicious.

I can't speak highly enough of the venue, team and food at Preston Manor. We held our small casual wedding there and nothing was a problem, everything was taken care of and beautiful. We're so pleased we chose this venue for our special day. And being from interstate, organising from a distance was made easy and pleasant by their great attitude and helpfulness. Originally, we visited there and had delicious coffee and cake to discuss our event and from then on we knew we were in good hands. Next time we're in Twmba we'll make sure to go for lunch because the food and location is so lovely.

Our daughter was married at this amazing venue in August 2022 and it was perfect. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the owners and we were treated like family. The gardens were immaculate, views superb, the food fantastic and the fact that the guests, many who had travelled from far and wide, had no commute between the wedding venue and reception was greatly appreciated.

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful food & atmosphere & staff were extremely friendly.

Returned 5 months later, mid October, bringing friends for weekday lunch. Service on arrival and mains did not disappoint - all were lovely and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, desserts did not meet the same high standard - in variety or execution. Wld go elsewhere for coffee and sweets next time if same on offer, but definitely be back for mains.
Wait staff also need to learn to check empty plates cleared from mains before attempting to deposit coffees and desserts on same table. (Simply staff training)

We enjoyed our seafood and vegetables. Cooked to perfection. House wine was top class. Coffee and dessert were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views were magnificent. Only ten minutes from Kmart Toowoomba.

I DJed a wedding in this venue and it was awesome! I am speaking from a supplier side and all I can say is this venue has the best people! James, Penny, and Callan were awesome and very welcoming and friendly! They even offered us food and coffee while packing up before leaving the venue. This venue is a 5 star for me and the people behind this venue is a solid 10 out of 10! I’m pretty sure the wedding couple had an awesome time as well as their guests but as from a supplier’s point, these guys are top notch!

We chose Preston Manor for our baby shower afternoon. We had 80 guests and they all walked away saying how incredible the afternoon was. We also hired the Windy City Jazz Band to play (through the help of Preston Manor) and they were just incredible! So awesome. The atmosphere, service, cleanliness, attention to detail, stunning location and incredibly kind team we’re faultless in their execution of the event. We couldn’t be happier. Under new management and the food is great and service friendly. Great venue in and around the old homestead with great views of the surrounding valleys and bush. The have live music on weekends. Will be going back and would recommend to visit. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the later part of the week. Only 10-15 minute drive from the Toowoomba CBD.

Had a lovely lunch today. James was a great waitperson. Very knowledgeable . We had a pizza, chicken Boronia and barramundi. All very delicious.

Attended the art craft day today with Kristy from Kreate it, all I can say is WOW!! The staff are amazing, the food is Devine, the place is magical, so beautiful and peaceful. The art day was so much fun highly recommended. I will be back. Highly recommend, put it on your list to go to the Preston Manor you will not be disappointed.

Pity I am not a local otherwise I'd be a regular. Service was OUTSTANDING! All thanks to our waiter and his extreme patience with our ProCRUSTinating on Wood Fire Pizza selection (See what I did there, yeah clever I am!)

Special mention must go to the Manager for his back scratching after helping to avoid his car battery from going caput in the dead of a Friday night. I don't literally don't mean back scratching in a sense but more like returning the favour, you know "I scratch your back you scratch mine"

In other words my partner and I were treated with a nice surprise at the venue's Bar which was lovely, in turn this kind gesture has restored my faith in humanity, it turns out that paying it forward does come around eventually.

Anyway had a great time, so much so that we might be inclined to pay another visit to Preston Manor soon for another amazing experience. Well done! Two 👍 👍 up!

We had reception at the manor for after my mothers funeral at the Village Chapel. They created a beautiful atmosphere for our family gathering ..the catering was delicious ..thank you

It was very well presented and the food was excellent 👌 the staff were fantastic 👏 I was at an 80th birthday afternoon tea.They even catered for the little people. I would go there again 🤗
