Monkey Thai Restaurant

This is a great place. Came here on a work colleague’s recommendation. Located in a suburban street. A large modern restaurant with a buzz. Food was great. Highly recommend the Sirracha prawns, the crab fried rice and the red curry. The red curry had the right balance of spice.

My wife is Thai - so I eat a lot of Thai food at home, out and in Thailand.
We always like to try new places and try new things.
This place didn't dissapoint.
We had roast duck salad and sizzling bugs along with coconut rice. Each was fantastic.
The only negative is its upstairs with no lift and I use a wheelchair. So I went up and down the stairs on my bum.

Good service and attentive wait staff. Food is of good quality as well. I would say it’s slightly up market with less portions but a lot more refined. The soft shell crab was delicious and the noodles were super authentic with that signature Thai spicy kick.

lovely ! walked in just as the kitchen was about to close and we still got a table . Foods really amazing ,curry puffs and the pad thai cooked to perfection. Must visit if you are around the area

Banquet $55.. we did changed a little from the menu. We couldn't even finish desert.. it's worth the price and taste and volume were can't describe as really good.. amazing friendly service and quick serve.. 100% recommends

First time at Monkey Thai after reading some good reviews online...and did not disappoint ✅
Great entrance, greeted by 2 staff who quickly found our booking and asked whether we wanted to be seated, or go to the bar for pre-drinks. We moved to the bar, which was very nice and roomy, then after drinks shown to our table.
Food was excellent with a good variety of dishes, including a
specials list, wine list was adequate and the service professional.
BYO option even on Saturday night which is terrific and rear parking if you're early, otherwise street parking is available.

My favourite Thai restaurant! The food is consistently amazing and the Monkey Thai staff are always super friendly. You never come out disappointed after eating here, highly recommend the Pad Kee Mao and Pla Neung Manau.

The food is amazing and the staff are even more amazing. Every time I walk in I feel like I’m being greeted home by family. I wish I could give 100 stars.

Best Thai in the Shire, hands down! Excellent food, clean premises & always friendly service.

We had my mum-in-law's birthday here a few weeks ago and the food was delicious! We had the banquet option and the servings were just right and the variety was great! The service was friendly and quick and would definitely eat here again.

My family and I had dinner here on a Saturday night, the restaurant was booked out, but the service was still great, we had entrees & mains and each meal was delicious. Highly recommend.

Found this restaurant by chance when everything was closed on Sunday night so we just googled places to eat nearby. It was a big surprise to find such a nice place so close to home - we drove past it for years and never knew it was there.
Delicious food and great service! Girls who work there are amazing - they are always there when you need them and very friendly. The owner is often there too and provides a great service.
Nice interior design as well and feels fresh and clean.
It has a bar too so I'm looking forward to come there with my colleagues one day for a nice function.

Loved the food, and staff were great too. I'll come back.
