A surprising find for us. We were looking for a place that is wheelchair accessible, has Vegetarian options and is near Riverwood. That's how we ended up here (in October). The experience was so good that this is now our goto Italian place there and we've been back twice since.

Wow! Where do I begin?
The food is mouth watering! From the antipasto to mains and dessert, don’t even get me started on the tiramisu!!!
Their homemade pasta is just so good! And their thin pizza just what I needed!
Very fresh food.
The staff is so welcoming and kind.
It’s so authentic and felt like home.

Fresh al dente pasta with great texture~

Their coffee is outstanding, it is Italian style with dark roasted coffee beans yet it is not bitter, it's full of aroma, smooth and unique.

The entree board was delicious. Pizza and fresh pasta were next level. Dessert and coffees.....you just have to go and try it. Cheaper than a flight to Rome! So reasonably priced! Will definitely be back.

We have been coming here for a few years now and always feel transported to Italy when we do. Beautiful hand made pasta, great specials, lovely home made deserts. We always feel welcomed and treated as part of the family. We are now up to bottle number 5 or 6 of Carlo's chilli oil. You can get chilli oil too on the side with your meal if you like. This place is something special.

Just had our first dine in meal here. It didn't disappoint. We have had take away a few times and always enjoyed it. We took the opportunity having a kid free evening. Very good food. My only gripe was that it was extremely loud, but everyone was enjoying themselves. Maybe some insulation would help.

This restaurant doubled as the dream venue for our Post-Wedding Lunch back in September 2023.
Federico and The beautiful Staff made everything from the food to decor and table settings, all-of-it Perfection.

Federico organised all details with us in person upon our first meeting, then a dinner a month before and the remaining via email. The response time on most of these were within an hour!
We were so impressed and found it easy to make tweaks or discuss any quick questions.

We were provided with great menu options and deals. All the way from entree to desserts. In addition to this, they also provided alternatives for our gluten free guests and the kids.
Overall we didn't have to change much, as we loved the traditional decor and music that they have set on any normal day.

We had approximately 35 people join us for our special day, all seated.
+ The alcohol is BYO which is truly a tough find in Sydney.

The Big Day: All went smoothly.
Both Federico and friendly staff members welcomed all our guests and liaised with us on the day for food timings etc.

The food came out hot and delicious.
Every course separated well and in perfect presentation.
From beginning to end our friends and family were left impressed;
Everyones glasses of drinks topped up as the staff would check on the tables and ensure everyone was well accomodated. Coffee and tea requests had arisen mid way and this was no problem for them.
Each of our guests left full and few took the leftovers for takeaway.

The place didn't feel crowded or overwhelming in any way. It was full of talking, laughter, smiles and our new favourite memory. We were well taken care of and enjoyed every moment.

Federico took care of us like he would for family, in every aspect leading up to this day and the entire day itself.

It's been months since, and though this review is much overdue; We can say we've remained lovers of the food here and the feeling we have of just sitting at a table, Whether it be lunch or dinner, gives us a great warmth and reminiscence that you wouldn't just be able to get anywhere.

Even better, we are remembered when visiting even after this day and feel like we are part of this family.

If you're looking for the Perfect Family-orientated, 'feels like home' type place to eat; Service that is personal and impeccable at the same time; A Menu that has authentic flavours and which makes you leave thinking.. What can I try next?

A great dining experience. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive. They were bubbly too and put a smile on all of our faces. The pizza was superb quality. The pastas left a bit to be desired. Mine had a bit too much ingredients in it whilst the same dish ordered by someone else didn't have enough sauce. Byo which was excellent too

Today our students from Blakehurst High school had lunch at this amazing restaurant. Federico the owner welcomed our students with open arms. They were then treated to a smorgasbord of pasta, pizza and ice cream. The service and quality of the food was outstanding. The students all left very satisfied with comments like “this was amazing miss and the restaurant went all out for us today”. My colleague and I are so grateful for everything that Federico and his team did for our students. I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to anyone wanting top quality and delicious food.

This restaurant makes the tastiest pastas I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon pasta it was sooo creamy and perfectly seasoned. Definitely will return to try the other food items. Service was also excellent very friendly owner.

Went here with my partner after not being able to decide where to eat, the food, hospitality and all round atmosphere was exceptional, servings were generous and the price was equally as fair, i highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The food here is fantastic ! The closest pizza to Rome itself and I have had pizza in Rome .
The family that own it are actually from Rome and so is the chef so you can’t go wrong !

Roma It's our favourite restaurant. Best food and atmosphere. Fredrico and his team are doing great job and they are very important part of our local community. We organised at Roma lots of family functions and always we received great food and service.

Chose to go to this restaurant for my birthday just out of reviews alone and was pleasantly satisfied with everything. It's a very quaint little shop but nurtured with love, the owner is very welcoming and takes the time to make sure the customers feel at home. The food might seem expensive but the quality is authentic and delicious, the pizzas are cooked perfectly with a variety of cheeses used besides mozzarella. Ingredients are generously spread for the pizzas, it feels good to have a thin yet packed slice, it makes for an intimate experience. The pastas taste great as well, the chewiness of the noodle is unique and pairs well with the pasta. The only thing I would recommend is cutting deeper for each pizza slice as it can be difficult to separate portions. But definitely a heartfelt and homely restaurant that any family will enjoy!

Amazing experience!!! Nice owner and dilicious food, expecially the pizza and pasta. I never expect there is a such great Itian resurant in riverwood. The flavour can be compared to the expensive one
