The Watershed Function Centre & Cafe

We went for breakfast and was absolutely delighted 😋. My wife ordered french toast and I had the watershed breakfast. Atmosphere was great excellent service from staff. We ordered our dishes and within 5 minutes they were delivered, fantastic service.
We sat near a window overlooking the wetlands and were also exposed to a pair of beautiful superb blue wrens in the gardens. What a sight with all the bird life around.
An overwhelming experience.

I came here on a Saturday morning and ordered French toast. It came with not only sweet toast but also bacon, so I was able to eat it without getting bored and was very satisfied. The beautiful birds and calm environment are very relaxing.

If you're looking for a function centre for a wedding, the Watershed Cafe will not disappoint.

We had both our ceremony and reception here and it was amazing.
I am blown away at how wonderful the staff, cooks and manager were.

A big thank you to Maurice for making our wedding so perfect, he went above and beyond to make sure everything would go right.

The lovely staff did a great job at setting everything up and were so professional and friendly.
The reception area was just gorgeous.

The entrées and mains were a big portion size and tasted delicious.

All the guests were raving about how beautiful the function place scenery was and how delicious the meals were.

The Watershed staff were so accommodating for dietary requirements and preparing all the food choices. Which was fantastic as we had lots of lactose intolerant and vegan guests at the reception.

We had the best night and are so grateful to everyone that helped make it so wonderful.

Had an excellent outing experience there. Great food, we had garlic prawns on a yummy rice recipe. Not crowded, relaxed surroundings. Popular wetlands boardwalk adjacent with lovely nature to captivate all. Convenient close carpark. Enjoyed conversation with my son Peter and a nice refreshing gin drink which is my usual now when I go out. Plenty of shade if you decide to eat outside. Staff were funny and added to the charm of the nice service. Dog, children and wheelchair friendly atmosphere.

We had a plan to get a coffee and go for a walk around the wetlands. The cakes looked too good, had to return to taste some. I saw people enjoying their meals. Unfortunately the café closes at 4 so we need to return for a lunch some other time.

The food price is reasonable and I really like the view of the cafe.

I had fish and chips. Amazing food and ambience.

Lovely area. Nice and peaceful location with views of the lake. Loved watching the swans while we chatted over our coffee and pancakes and crepes. Unfortunately, we were after 3 serves of pancakes, and they could only do 2. Staff were very friendly and helpful and enjoyed a laugh.

Love coming here with my K9-Kids. They make great coffee, and the food is delicious.
I take my girls for a walk, mudflats are their favourite.

I just hosted a function at The Watershed. The food was outstanding, the service was perfect and the support I received whilst organising the function was absolutely brilliant. My family was thoroughly impressed and I think we are very lucky to have such a beautiful restaurant like this up North. It truly was a unique experience and the extra money to hire the function room was very much worth the extra expense. Thank you for a magical day.

As soon as I walked in I was warmly
greeted! Great lady served us and was so warm and friendly omg! Literally loved it here. Nice people and nice interior. Totally recommend. I only bought tea n a cake. The cake was a bit rigid but nonetheless everything else was great! Best part of my experience was everyone was so friendly thanks guys for making such a warm and fuzzy experience for my momma and I♥🎀💋💋💋

Great venue to enjoy lunch and relax and soak in views.
Several areas to eat either inside or out on the decking. Nice clean venue.
Has great views overlooking the wetlands, and the birdlife. Customer service very friendly and efficient.
Love their menu selection, their share seafood platter is excellent value. Also great coffee and cake selections. Tried their carrot cake was nice.
They only open during daytime, however for large groups if booking for 20 or more people you can speak to the venue manager to arrange an evening dinner.

We had a great time at the watershed cafe! The seafood chowder was really lovely and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The halloumi stack was really great as well and the chargrilled halloumi was fantastic on it. Definitely would come back to try the other options on the menu as it looks great.

The food here is to die for. I came here for 3 birthday parties, including my own and breakfast one time. The eggs were beautifully made with love with very well balance of flavours. The dips and bread that were in my birthday party was super good. Honestly the best restaurant I have ever been to. Just wished this place was open for dinner. The only bad thing about this place is the bathroom. The toilet paper container things are ripped off the wall, it always stinks in there and just feels unhygenic. The chicken schitzel was soo good. This place is so perfect for dates. This place has such a beautiful view when it hits sunset.

I had a lovely coffee here. I made an impromptu stop here as I was driving along and saw the sign. There was plenty of parking, and free tables in the cafe (it was about 10am).

I had their cold drip coffee which was excellent. And the food that I saw them bringing out for other guest for breakfast looked delicious - will presented, yay looking food, and large servings. I would definitely go back here again.

A little gem of a place. The cafe was warm and welcoming on a cold day and hope to return on a warmer day to enjoy sitting on the deck. All good and service was fabulous.

A surprisingly lovely setup and relaxing lake scenery. The food was great and the staff looked after us very well. The function section seems to hold about 80 and is nicely decorated.

Excellent place for breakfast or lunch. Outstanding food every time we have been there. Great staff.
