We have been coming here for a long time. The quality of food and fair priced menu, have made each return memorable.

Located in a quieter part of Dickson shopping area, this low key family restaurant has been serving the locals faithfully. The homely atmosphere makes you calm and excitement is from the food.

The combination broken rice, rare beef pho, vermicelli salad with lemon beef and house special Hanoi beef with spring rolls all paired well with an ice cold Vietnamese coffee.

The food is authentic northern food and it is yummy with full flavour.

I will keep coming back and so should you.

Food is fantastic, deliciously tasty and authentic ... great little family business that is well worth supporting.

We recently came back from Vietnam and were craving our favourite meal Bún chả and the previous reviews are the same for us. Great meal, great presentation and great service. Recommend and will return again.

Lovely family run Vietnamese restaurant with authentic food - the bun cha is truly worth a detour. We always love going there when in Canberra. It’s by far one of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants (and we are quite picky with our choice: my Mum was Vietnamese, my partner and I lived in Vietnam as expats and our child is one of the fussiest kid on the planet when it comes to food!). Yes the service can be a bit slow at times but the wait is well worth it. The owner is super nice and good on the kids for helping with the service.

Food was good. Price was reasonable. Overall we were full and satisfied.

I decided to go there The Vietnamese House Restaurant 🏠 to try there 😋 food what they offer 😋.

Staff come up to me and ask nicely what you like to order 😉, she said that you can sit any table, before long I received my meal from the Lovely Staff 😍.

I order the Prawns Springs Rolls, Crabmeat and Asparagus Soup 🍲 😋, followed by Stir Fried 😋 Noodles 🍜 - Soft Noodles 🍜 Combination, with an nice cup of tea 🍵 😋.
The food was divine 😋, speciality the Soup 🍲.

Family 👪 can come to meal, it is a nicest place to be and so cosy ☺.

You can get your meals delivered to you 😉, have a Takeaway or dine in 😉.

The Vietnamese traditional dishes are tasty and make this restaurant a special place to visit and enjoy a meal in a friendly atmosphere.
Portions are generous but reasonably priced.
Highly recommended.

Vietnamese House is a true local gem — very affordable and if you order their signature dishes you can’t go wrong. I get their bun cha ha noi every time, and it’s a thing of beauty; bun bo hue, banh cuon, and betel leaf beef are also amazing options we rotate between. Do yourself a favour and visit!

I love dining here. The place is so clean and tidy.

I always comeback here for the beautiful Banh Cuon (steamed rice rolls with pork) and Bun cha Hanoi (grilled pork and spring rolls with noodles). They are food for the souls. 🤤🤤🤤

The Banh Cuon is only 12.90 and it comes with pork sausage, bean fritters, bean spouts and herbs. It’s just too good!

The best thing about this place is that they serve AUTHENTIC Vietnamese foods. Vietnamese foods are always served with lots of fresh herbs and veggies. This place is one of the rare restaurants that do not cut back on the herbs and veggies.

So so good!

I loved their stir fried vegetable. The amount is great for $14. The combination of vegetables used is also healthy. The service was very good.

The best value for money Vietnamese or Asian restaurant in Canberra. $30 for Chicken Wings as an entree, and Spicy Pork Chops and Special Fried Rice as main. All were delicious !!

Absolutely the best kept secret of Canberra. Family owned and operated- Love Kimmy, Jimmy and the girls.

Decoration a bit older and simple compared with others, but food is awesome. My dad rather have good cheaper food then awesome decor anyways.

Tried Traditional grilled pork vermicelli noodle (Bun cha Ha Noi). The restaurant is kind of family restaurant. The service is ok and the dish tastes quite similiar to original one. Will come back for the food!

Amazing food, traveled throughout Vietnam and out of all places in Canberra, this food is the most similar to what you get on the streets of Vietnam. Authentic, reasonably priced and a family business. I highly recommend this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal of banh cuon, com tam and bun cha. Authentic flavours in these dishes. Would come back.
