Oaks Cable Beach Resort

We stayed with friends
at the Oaks resort Cable Beach . We had breakfast and it was lovely the young French backpacker looking after us and breakfast I think her name was Lucile or Lulu was absolutely amazing nothing too much trouble , very professional and I wanted to take her home and keep her .
The Oaks is very lucky to have such a wonderful young lady working for them .
She went the extra mile and walked us to the door and waved us off . She was most attentive and made our trip very memorable and we had warm smiles after our interaction with her .
Good luck Lulu . We will be friends forever now and come back to see you soon again .

Rooms present really well, bed is comfortable. Theres plenty to do, pool access etc. Free fast wifi with Beam e-scooters available out the front. Tried them out, bit expensive, they charged .65 cents per minute during my visit.

Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. We loved the pool area, it's gorgeous and big. It's very suitable for kids.
Room was clean and tidy. Aircon was soo good on the hot days.
Unfortunately the restaurant was close, so I can't comment on that.
But there is other good restaurants just a short walk away. So we were not left wanting for food.

Great location and facilities. Good service from management after a mix up on arrival with room booked. Rachel quickly attended our problem with empathy and for our troubles upgraded us to a pool side room 😎

Beautiful resort makes you feel relaxed even when you first go to reception to check in.

Our rooms were spacious and could easily accommodate our whole family (4 5 people)

There are multiple pools on the premises which is perfect for safe swimming in a hot and very humid environment.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the room service staff are regular keeping your accommodation nice and fresh.

One thing that could do with some improvement is the shower water seems to seep into the bathroom floor leaving you with either a very soggy bathmat or a very slippery floor but maybe this can be looked into at a later date.

Still a very lovely place to stay and while we were here we were also visited by wallabies and other local wildlife which made our stay magical.

Stunning venue, amazing facilities and the staff have customer service sorted. Highly recommend

Best resort in Broome. Largest pools and not old and outdated like CBC. We stayed in 3 bedroom villa (167) with private pool.

The resort was wonderful , the staff were totally amazing and so accommodating assisting us when our flights were cancelled 4 times . Great location, beautiful gardens with a friendly Gardner, great car parking and spacious rooms. The rooms were serviced every day by smiling staff. The pools were so relaxing. Thank you 🙏 Ps loved the wild life .

This resort is beautiful! It's tranquil, open and in a great location. A short stroll to Cable Beach. The staff are friendly and are always eager to assist. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, serving happy hour cocktails and drinks from 5pm. Due to the closed borders and lack of workers, they have made it work, well done Team Oaks Cable Beach. Other resorts are not so fortunate and have had to close their bar and restaurant until workers and peak season flow through again. We found our one bedroom apartment to be clean and perfect for all our needs, the king size bed is incredibly comfortable. I truly don't understand and can't believe the negative reviews, as our experience on our Honeymoon has been perfect.

Just came back here from a beautiful stay at the Oaks, its in a great location just few mins from cable beach. Rooms were very spacious and clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Pools are was large and they have several small pools you can use too. Only letdown was the food at the restaurant, ordered a club sandwich and it was burnt and not very nice, but a lovely hotel and would stay again.

A really nice resort in a great location close to Cable Beach. We just returned from a 7 day stay in a 1 bedroom apartment at the Oaks Cable Beach resort and are already planning a return trip. The unit we stayed in was super clean and amazingly quiet. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The kitchen was nice for the times we just didn't feel like eating out, it had a full size fridge and freezer, microwave, stove and oven with all the accessories needed for cooking . The pools are also nice and well maintained. A bit too popular at times, so you may have to wait for a pool side lounge seat which was really no big deal. The staff were nice and helpful getting us checked in quickly so we could start our vacation. The resort is 1 kilometre from Cable beach which was an easy walk with a few cafes and restaurants along the way. A great place to stay while in Broome.

very good accomodation.. Clean, Queit and serviced daily. 4-5 pools. Main bar/resturant overlooking the main pool a great sunset spot. Didnt eat at resturant but bar staff made very good fresh different cocktails. happy Hour 5-6pm. Opens quite late at 5pm though

The resort is great, the pools are excellent and the BBQ area it convenient.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are a great size and have everything you need to be fully self sufficient or you can enjoy breakfast or dinner at the restaurant.
Plenty of parking if you have a car, great location and able to walk to most places in Cable Beach

I've stayed here twice and would recommend. The staff are very accommodating, the apartments are modern and functional, and the pool area is great. I also appreciated being able to park right outside the apartment.

Compared to other hotels this property outdone our expectations.

We initially stayed at Mangrove Hotel which was pretty basic and moved to the Oaks for our last two nights.

We chose a 1 bedroom apartment which included the most comfortable bed you could ask for at a 4 star property.

The property is only 10 mins walk to famous Cable Beach inc the Nude Beach famous for its spectacular sunsets.
The apartment was huge with a full kitchen, laundry and two TVs and a small sound system.
Our apartment was nice and quiet located in a good position away from the main pool.
The cleanliness of our apartment has given me the reason to my 5 star review as it was immaculate.

The pool area is stunning with two large pools, a kids splash pool and a further two pools out the back of the property.

The service at the restaurant was reasonable considering the major shortage of hospitality staff in Australia due to Covid however the food was not great.

*Precooked hamburgers listed on the menu as chargrilled. The precooked burgers come in packets and basically you can add these to the stovetop or grill to warm up. With a full kitchen out the back I’d expect fresh produce and not precooked items especially at the prices charged.

*Salt and Pepper squid has no taste what so ever.

*Breakfast buffet was basic with choice of eggs available. Due to shortages of staff, the buffet area was filthy and very minimal items available at 0830am, 30 mins prior to closing.

On our arrival there were two people working on a quiet reception desk but one person at the bar who was inundated with orders, running meals and making drinks including cocktails. I would have liked to see a bit of team work with Front Office staff assisting the poor girl working by the pool. Even without an RSA FO staff could be taking orders or running meals.

Some constructive criticism to help the business grow.

Had a great girls getaway at this villa. Walking distance to the beach, lovely pool, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful alfresco area. The hosts were lovely to deal with. Definitely will be back there next time I am in Broome.

Very clean rooms, equipped kitchens, excellent air conditioning, plenty parking space. The breakfast is fair. Great stay in Broome. A tad expensive for what you get, but Broome is not a cheap holiday. Recommended.

Loved our 3 nights stay at Oaks Cable Beach Resort. Our apartment had everything and more that we needed. It had a great look and feel. Not far from Cable Beach and the perfect base for our stay in Broome. Would highly recommend.
