Atmosphere perfect.
Mood perfect.
Views perfect.

Outside but not cold at all.
One of best Sydney oysters and a bowl of olives.

White wine at $54 but worth sipping there with great Darling Harbour views.

All menu priced costly but not too costly. They should pay rent too.

Highly recommended!!!

You might need to reserve or wait in line but the wines, food and view are worthy! Try the exotic Tasmanian white wine flavor combination with oysters enjoying the down under sunset. Other delicious dishes and wines surely available. Very busy so the service might get slow here and there.

Wow! Just wow what an experience! One of the best meals I've had in ages Broomes oyster bar was beautiful. Great little spot beautiful restaurant amazing food! If I go back to Broome I'll be booking well in advance worth every dollar we spent there. Highly recommended. Amazing food, fantastic service, friendly staff and what a vibe.

Best food. Took my mrs out for anniversary dinner. Loved it. Staff were friendly. Good choice price was good. Could do with more quantity per dish but no complaints here. Thank you for the perfect night

This could be a major tourist spot; but it's really a must spot to dine; you can't get any better with the amazing view during a summer evening. Watching the ferry's dock and undock, and if you're lucky you also get to see a cruise ship deport. Views of the Harbour Bridge in the distance leave a majestic feel and vibe. And of course the seafood cuisine, oh my!!! Ordered the Mushroom Arancini that at like fried risotto balls - just divine! Seasonal heirloom tomatoes, uber fresh fried calamari, and I shared the steamed Kinkawooka mussels - oh and don't forget to order the garlic bread - wowzers.

This place was almost empty on a beautiful afternoon when all the nearby restaurants were packed and I don’t know why. The oysters were so so good and service excellent. We had a dozen mixed oysters and some bread and wine and it was heavenly. The Merimbula were my favorite. Views of the bridge, ferries, Luna Park and harbour were spectacular

Chilli mussels is yummy. Oysters are fresh.
Fish taco is delicious.
Surprisely I love the dessert the most.
The combination with tiramisu with panna cotta, I highly recommended to order the dessert even if you are full. 🤣

My hubby reserved the table view river for our dinner on holiday in Sydney and we don’t disappoint with the view and atmosphere.
We ate a lot and enjoyed all dishes.
- six kinds of fresh oysters
- oyster with seasoning
- kingfish fresh raw with taro chips
- steamed mussel 1 kg.
- grilled prawns
Btw, You can see details of our orders in the bill photo.

The most impressive one is a plate of six kinds of fresh oysters, company with white wine.
My favorite glass is St.John Riesling. Five star perfect match! Price is high, but satisfy.

My friend booked our reservation for this restaurant 8 months in advance. We scored a table for 5 right along the rail and had a great view of the harbor during dinner.

The menu is a good size, with something for everyone but so many options you’re overwhelmed. We had the bay bug, fish & chips, tiger prawn linguine, green beans, garlic bread, and a few other things on the table and left completely stuffed. The dessert menu looked delicious as well but we didn’t have room.

We are interstate visitors and regular visitors to SCOB (about every 6 months). We’ve always had a great experience and weren’t disappointed on our latest visit as we had a brilliant lunch to remember. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed a fresh and tasty seafood platter of a generous size. Although it was busy when we arrived (without a booking) we were quickly seated at a table then as soon as a table next to the water became available, it was offered to us without asking. To top it off, I left some good headphones on my chair when we left and they promptly posted them back to me. All round amazing people!

The Cove Oyster bar is situated in a wonderful location with a great selection of food. Definitely work a visit just for the location alone, but especially if you are a seafood lover. All the staff were friendly and quite helpful on top. Needless to say the oysters are a must! The value for money is also quite good.

Seafood platter ($120) very FRESH!!! Heard they're closing down end of March so you should go before they close down. Great for lunch with outdoor seatings and view!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, gorgeous view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and opera house, and amazingly friendly and generous staff.
Although there were no waterside tables when we got there, we were so pleasantly surprised when the host remembered we had requested one and followed up with us when one opened up.

All Seafood was very good. Had the massive seafood platter, some extra oysters, affogato dessert, and fireball drinks. Enjoyed every minute of it. They was an awkward shift change right after I arrived and I was left hanging for a bit, but lucky for them they got it figured out before I lost patience trying to flag someone and they were very snappy and attentive for the rest of the time.

It's gone, but what a way to go! Superb food, unrivalled view and the end of an era for one of Sydney's most famous eateries. Thanks for all the memories and hopefully see you up in Broom!
