Martin has been an integral part of streamlining our business into the 21st century. We transitioned from a clunky accounting package to using Mechanic Desk software program that is better suited to our industry as well as integration with Xero accounting that runs smoothly behind the scenes. I have had the pleasure of working in a professional capacity with Finance Expert and Chartered Accountant Mr Martin Tunley of The Numbers and Beyond from March 2017 to June 2020.

In my position as General Manager of a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Launceston, Tasmania I worked with Martin for three (3) years in his role as the Finance Manager. At the time Martin was based in regional Victoria and though we were geographically separated, his expertise working with remote clients through his knowledge of up to date technology and software packages and his commitment, genuine interest and care in the organisation, its staff and stakeholders made it feel as if was sitting in the office with me!

Martin is helpful, available, affordable and understands a deadline. He is extremely experienced in the finance sector but importantly moves easily between explaining detailed financial documents in lay terms to working at a more technical level with auditors and others when required.
Martin understands the not-for-profit sector and the relevant legislation and governance reporting requirements entailed as well having experience in the commercial sector.

I enjoyed working with Martin over those three years so much that I sought his expertise in my new role…where I am based in regional Northern Territory and he is based in Perth, WA! Again, the remote working relationship has been professional, timely and fun! A testament to his commitment to each of his clients, I couldn’t recommend him more!
