Lane Cafe Rottnest

Great coffee, excellent muffins👍 the Pup Burger is my favourite lunch, sometimes with a side of thin fries. There's always the famous Cray Dog and so much more and always a lovely smile. There are quokkas nearby, the beach is just around the corner, I'm running out of superlatives - go there, you won't regret it.

The Cray dog ( Grilled Crayfish burger) is really yummy. Landed at Rottnest early morning on the first ferry. The marketplace was quiet with more quokkas than humans. The Craydog & fresh coffee at The Lane was delicious. Staff is friendly and pointed to the little quokka that had entered the shop & sat right behind as I was placing the order being one of the first customers. Very cute experience, 5 stars & absolutely recommended!!

Delicious food and the best coffee at this little cafe on the island. The place to grab eggs on toast as a bite for brekky. Food was fresh and came out quickly along with friendly, great service, definitely would recommend😊

We have visited The Lane several times but today had our very first Craydog……yum. Just another reason to keep going back. Thanks to the team for your ongoing wonderful service, beautiful coffee and -now- your Craydogs 😊 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They offer some of the nicest burgers in Rottnest Island. I tried one of their burgers and did not regret it.

You can see some quokkas hopping around the cafe area, near the stores, and even under the chairs, so please be aware and not step onto them.

It is a great experience to have a quick bite at Rottnest Island while looking at the beautiful natural wildlife!

Best coffee on the island and in my experience better than anywhere I went in Perth this time round. Helpful, friendly and happy staff that manage busy times with ease and not a very long wait considering the morning rush. My go to for coffee and light meals when I’m visiting Rottnest. Halloumi salad was great too. Thank you Lane crew!

Friendly staff and good food. Wife and I had the Mango Passion Smoothie, Green Smoothie, Ham & Cheese Croissants, Portuguese Egg Tart, Banana Cake and a double shot small flat white all of it really good. Great outdoor space with quokka freely roaming about

Delicious food at this little cafe on the island! Perfect place to grab a bite for brekky or for lunch. Food came out quickly even though it was very busy and had really good coffee too. Great service and atmosphere- would definitely recommend

A tad pricey but you are on an island and given that most other touristic locations are ridiculously expensive these guys were relatively reasonable especially when their food, drinks and coffee's were pretty good! Just a tad busy during holiday season.

UNEXPECTED. The açai bowl is the best I’ve had in Perth. This was not what I expected when I came to Rottnest Island as I thought the food would be overpriced and low on quality given the island is remote and a popular tourist destination. Impressed with the service and the quality.

Absolutely brilliant service. All the staff were so friendly and helpful with gorgeous smiles too. The food was amazing and we all scored our meals 10 out of 10. My vegan burger was the best I've ever had. Love this place with a passion!!!!

Picked up a flat white and a laneway special. So good! Friendly staff too.

The food was very delicious- I would go again. The chicken and cheese sandwich (which sounds plan) was actually very yummy

Best craydog I ever had!!

The lobster roll is amazing! Lobster grilled to perfection, fresh and sweet. Had for lunch on arrival day and hubby insisted having it again on our departure day, even though we had a lunch reservation somewhere else already! Too good to have photos.

We bought iced lattes and they were delicious.

Had breakfast here after getting off the 7am ferry. They catered for gluten free - had a super nice eggs on gf toast with bacon and mushrooms. The quokkas seemed interested but I wasn’t sharing. Don’t drink coffee so I can comment but the line was long and people looked happy.

Decent coffee and toasted banana bread. Very efficient despite being very busy!
