Cape Vlamingh Viewing Platform

Beautiful spot. The path to the right had the best view of the sea lions playing in the rock cluster straight ahead of the platform. The path straight ahead had some gorgeous views great for pictures

If you make it all the way to west end, it’s definitely worth a visit. There are some interesting information boards and a beautiful view. The rock formations are incredible and you feel very far away from everything! Very windy though - hood on to your hat!

Rottnest is such a beautiful island, this is just one of the many places on the island where you can look out over pristine sea with all its beautiful shades of blue.

Spectacular views, worth the ride around the island

Beaut location and views. No whales or fur seals. Bike ride moderate. E-bike would be easier, bus definitely the easiest. Volunteer guides very helpful. Snack can in location 9-3pm

I have to say that this is the highlight spot on Rottnest island. You have to come and see it for yourself how magnificent this cape is. But be ready to cycle 10KMS up here.

Took daughter to see Billie Eilish this Area is good best get the train when everyone leaves after it’s painful to move. Took us 25 mins to go 3 blocks

Was a really nice day,not too hot luckily as there is no shelter at the bus stop here like there is at others like the lighthouse. The views are fantastic though and lots to see here and walks to explore from this stop.

Very nice/ beautiful place to visit. Lots of signage (well looked after) that gives you some cool facts about the local fauna and flora! Would recommend.

Worth the cycle, another beautiful spot on Rottnest. No swimming here.

Beautiful natural environment. Interesting information - close to fur seals colony. Coffee van onsite. Rottnest bus for transport or ride a bicycle -10km from settlement at other end of the island.

Stop 11. Don't be lazy, hop off your bus and walk here. Just don't lose your map or hat from the wind.

23 hills to the West End, but worth it for the views. Check out the eagles and go to Cathedral Rocks, not far, about 200m north to see all the seal colonies... very amusing 🙂

Definitely worth a stop off to take in the beautiful views.

WOW, when you visit Rottnest Island, you must visit here. Bike or bus easy to access.
