You must see Rottnest Island if you visit Perth ,
But must book ahead especially Easter holidays
You can and must hire tge bikes on the Island is the best way to see parts of the island and see the quokka's everywhere
Plenty of restaurants and cafes and you can book accommodation but book well in advance we were told.

Highly recommend amazing views and sights definitely welcomed the air conditioning on the bus as it was a hot day, Rob our driver was great and our tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Wow. What can I say. Rottnest Express provided an amazing service to go with an unbelievable day on the island. I took the adventure boat tour with Sophie as our host and Luke as the skipper. They both were sensational and made the experience seeing the island much more thrilling and enjoyable. I recommend the front of the boat if you’re up for the thrill. The cruise through the Swan river through to Fremantle was great and our host Jess gave us some excellent commentary to provide a more enjoyable ride. When I come back I will definitely be using Rottnest Express again.

Richard, our guide was knowledable and helpful. Simon showed great patience and expertise manoeuvring the bus so carefully around the hundreds of lizards sunning themselves on the roads. A wonderful day of gorgeous scenery and wildlife. Thank you 😊

This is the only ferry service to Rottnest Island I've taken, but I absolutely enjoyed the experience so I'll happily use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Purchasing online was very simple, add-ons like bikes or snorkel are all there. Came early spring, so the weather was dodgy. Thankfully, I was able to change my reservation dates very easily online through their site. No extra cost or anything, amazing and convenient!

Ferry was clean and modern. Bathroom was also clean. Line up, boarding, disembarking were all easy and well organized.

As an avid biker, the bikes were good enough to do the job. I definitely understand why passengers would bring their own.

If you're hoping to see the whole island in a day and aren't experienced biking with a good amount of hills, know that Rottnest is a bit hilly, so you might want to opt for an e-bike instead.

That said, helmets and locks were provided for every bike and you get them from the vessel once you disembark.

All a really easy, streamlined operation. Rottnest Express are pros.

Rottnest Express was definitely the best pick for us, there are other companies and other package options but the price was great and the service provided was on point. We opted for transfer + a guided tour down the Swan River before being burnt to a crisp on Rottnest Island. The amount of tourists are overwhelming but will soon dissipate the further you trek from beaches and water sources.

Shirlene, our guide and Rob, our driver, were fabulous and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend.

A fantastic day out to Rotto today with the Rottnest Express. The ferry left on time and reached Rotto on time as well. Our guide, Damien, was informative and passionate about Rottnest Island. We were also on the 90 min bus tour with him. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour! We had Mark as our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the island & also just very lovely in general. He cracked a few jokes as well to keep the mood fun 😂 Overall would absolutely recommend, you get to see plenty of the island & learn a bit along the way!
