We visited this place for dinner during our end-of-year camping in Dunsborough. The place was quite full, but we were lucky to get a table. All the food was good, but the best was the mussels. We ordered mild and it was PERFECT! All my family really enjoyed the food and the vibe. The staff was friendly and professional.

We stopped by every time we come down in Busselton because it’s simply the best place. Everything is amazing: food, drinks, atmosphere, view right in front of the main park and beach.
This time we had visitors from interstate and they loved this brewery too. Even though we didn’t have a booking and we came down during the Christmas holiday season they were able to accommodate us, after doing a bit of line.
My personal favorite is the poke bowl, but even the squid with chili sauce were tender and delicious with that spicy flavor that makes you want more. We ordered also prawn pizza (very nice), prawn brioche (awesome), pork schnitzel sandwich and fish fingers sandwich.
This is really the best place in Busselton!

Awesome location and view out in the bay. Indoor and Outdoor seating beautifully arranged. It was busy being lunchtime during school holidays Sunday. Only a short wait to be seated, table got cleaned once we got there too which was nice to see. We ordered via the app from a great menu choice and were surprised how quickly the food came out of the kitchen even during busy times. Food, beer, wine and soft drinks were spot on. Delicious, fresh produce well prepared absolute delight and big portions too. We had 1/2 pizza left and got a takeaway box for it. Great and friendly service...congratulations that was 5/5, we will be back

Usually when you’re out, there’s either salad, chips or burger left over.

But this plate is freaking clean as! 🤣

Waiter was super attentive. We have a family member struggling to cut our burger with the knife provided. Without having to ask we were given a steak knife.

Burger came with one of the best chips I’ve had! ** I’m picky **

Nice salty, crispy, but not oily , nor was it soggy.

We were served fast, food came out fast, reasonable prices, music was good. Kid friendly, even had some free colouring and board games.

Went for a family lunch, staff were super friendly and the playground for the kids was great. I loved being able to order from the QR code on the table. The food was fantastic (Bratwurst, Pork Schnitzel, Mussels etc) and the dessert was a delight for the 3 year old and the adults too. Serving sizes are large so I would encourage sharing. The tasting paddle was a fun way to try a few different beers and that was super fun too! Thank you for a lovely afternoon. I also appreciate that it is pet friendly.

Amazing place. Great view. Food was super good , venue looks amazing. Beer tasted awesome. 5 stars all around. The juiciest beef burger i’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place !

Had a lovely family lunch at shelter and even though they were super busy the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the mussels and asked for mild. When I tried them they were too spicy for me and I let the waitress know. She said the kitchen were happy to take them back and make me a super milder version. They come back perfect and I devoured them. Thank you Shelter for the yummy food and atmosphere

It was a good call to change our lunch place and came to Shelter Brewery. We initially wanted to go to The Goose, but it was so busy and they only had outside seatings and even though the views were nice, the thought of having tons of flies flying around your face and nose while eating was just...yuck! 😠 So we moved to Shelter Brewery instead. It was busy too, but it has more open space and better settings. I really like the high ceilings design and also the giant humpback whale drawing by Ian Daniell. I love whales so I absolutely love his drawing. I just wish they still sell his merch shirts with the whale print. I saw the staff wearing it and it looks so cool, but unfortunately the website said it's all sold out ☹ Anyway of course we're there for the food and everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Loved3x the beer! Generous portions, amazing and friendly service by all staff and we didn't wait long at all for the food. I haven't had chilli mussels for a while so that was just perfect! Will be back!

What’s not to love about this establishment. Great building and ambience, comfortable seating, fantastic music, friendly team, delicious menu with loads of GF options. The Belgian Waffles are a knockout!! Love the QR code ordering, so quick and easy. Highly recommend Shelter! Night view from the best hotel in town!

Very busy even on a Friday night.

We were awalk-inn but got a bench seat out on the front seating area outside.
Menu all looked delicious, but we opted for the mushroom Wood fire pizza. Hands down one of the best pizzas I have had in a very long time. We saw several other pizzas, and all looked and smelt amazing also.
The food coming out looked appealing.
Table service or app ordering. The venue is no cash, which was fien for me as I don't like to carry cash.
They do charge a 15% surcharge on public holidays I did read.

Would return for another slice of that heavenly pizza 🍕

Went down for lunch today, had pre booked a table which is highly recommended, very prompt service and taken to our reserved table.
We ordered our meals and drinks by the QR Code on the table, drinks and meals came out very quickly.

I had heard mixed reviews about Shelter Brewing Co, but my recent experience was far from disappointing.

We arrived late on a Wednesday night, having driven down from Perth in search of a place with good food after 9 pm, which proved to be quite a challenge. A local pub turned us away after we'd placed our orders, citing a closed kitchen. In a rush, we stumbled upon Shelter. Despite it being close to closing time, the waitress kindly informed us that it was last orders. We expressed our concern about not wanting to inconvenience the kitchen as they were likely getting ready to close, but they graciously accommodated us.

We opted for the pork knuckle and salt & pepper squid, accompanied by two beer paddles. The pork was a revelation – perfectly cooked, falling off the bone, and utterly irresistible. The salt & pepper squid was delightfully crispy and flavourful, with generous portions.

The beer paddle was a wise choice, allowing us to sample a variety of their craft beers. The standout was their stout, which, coming from a non-stout person, was a game-changer. It had a delightful coffee note that left me leaving with a 4-pack to enjoy later.

The staff were not only accommodating but also friendly and welcoming. One of the waiters even took the time to recommend some must-visit places in the South for our stay in Busselton.

I'm definitely planning a return visit, ideally on a busier night like Friday or Saturday to soak up more of the town's atmosphere. Busselton during the week tends to be quieter.

We visited today as a large family group, including young children. They supplied colouring paper and pencils for them which was a great idea. Our orders were placed and arrived quickly. All of the food was steaming hot and made with fresh ingredients. I had the chilli Mussels which were amazing, probably the best ever. Lunch was fantastic and we will be back again.

What can I say about this place.... When we arrived it was packed out, got a table outside as we had the kids, ordered food and it was out in what felt like minutes (10min) fresh, hot pizza, and corn poppers with a cold beer and wine. Thanks for your hospitality

Great venue. Service was amazing, location was amazing, food was amazing and the drinks YEP AMAZING!!
Good idea to book ahead as they do get busy.
Tables on the deck are beautiful on nice day and are right next to play areas for big and small kids.

Great spot for hangout. Foods are good for sharing. Service was super quick. Huge space. Plenty of options for food and drinks.

In terms of what we ordered, the beef brisket was average. Beef a bit dry and tough, not juicy at all. We also ordered iceberg salad, margarita pizza, and some chips which were ok. But I still rate the spot because the food came out super fast, and it was very easy to get help from the staff.

Decent range of beers and tasty food. Love the industrial aesthetic of the building in a gorgeous setting.

Get there early because there are queues, for a reason!
Food is the BEST I’ve had in ages, seafood was delicious and pizzas are authentic and tasty. So so yummy, great views of the jetty, nice little playground for kids, kids pizza is HUGE, beer is fantastic (you MUST try the peaches and cream ale!), best restaurant brewery in Busselton!
Only took a photo at the end, mussels were so yummy everyone loved them I didn’t get a chance before everyone dug in!

Visited here for dinner, we had a Margarita stone baked pizza. Very enjoyable. Service was also very good. My 3rd old son was given colouring pencils and a picture which kept him very happy.

Good beer. Good food. Good view. Had Pork knuckle and fish sandwich and multiple paddles to sample the beers, then had to get some takeaway beers for the road. Pizza looked awesome will do it next time for sure
