George's Super Deli

Still good :) I remember the original "George" would be asleep in the corner of the shop with all the kids jackets piled on top of him and the kids were running the front counter. Lovely memories. Still love going there :) Current people are nice also.

A good local old fashioned Deli, run by a person with direct customer service skills, but hey, we need to support these places, and hes got a great range.

Not a bad suburb maylands. Always a good police presence in the area. A lot of new units in the area as well

Very convenient but over priced.

George's Super Deli has been in the peninsula of Maylands for many years. Customer service is very fast. But food, drinks, ice, bait and other foods are overpriced. I believe this because of the location where it sits. Still on topic with location, George's Super Deli is in such a great location near parks, boat ramp and the historic Tranby House and Maylands Brickworks which are all 1-2 minutes away. The only downfall is the swamp next to it, where there are mosquitoes, and many birds making loud noises and dropping a stench of droppings during spring. Parking is very limited. The shop is very small with much stuff such as cards, envelopes and other souvenirs all crammed into one area. Overall, it was okay, but space and over pricing are the greatest issues.
