This spacious studio apartment is very large. It has an alpine chalet appearance with lots of exposed timber and stone and cathedral ceilings. It’s set well back from the road - private and quiet. It’s a rural setting with plenty of wallabies. The apartment is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything an independent traveller requires. A modern kitchen and huge bathroom. Our host was easy to communicate with and provided lots of helpful information re our stay on Bruny Island. We totally enjoyed our stay. The floor to ceiling windows are not completely covered by blinds so the early morning light (and bright moonlight) can be annoying for light sleepers. I wore a sleeping mask to counteract this.

The Studio was gorgeous. Very well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment. Good little coffee machine and we appreciated that coffee pods were left for us. We dined at home both nights and loved the little balcony and the wallabies. Very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. I LOVED the bath!! Had a lovely long soak after a big bush walk up the fluted cape.

We booked the studio one. Located a bit upper than its Google Map location. Don't worry it's nearby. Alright now about the studio.. Amazing and comfy villa. Modern yet classic interior. Hot water working well. Also, unforgettable experience seeing wild wallabies in front of your windows most of the time, including the white ones, see picture. Recommended and you'll enjoy your stay! Cheers!

Absolutely incredible stay. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing or indulgent experience. The views, wildlife and facilities made the Adventure Bay Retreat a must stay. Best accommodation/location/experience we have had and will definitely be returning on our next adventure to the bay. The soaking bath overlooking the wildlife and ocean was something extra that can't be missed.

What an absolutely beautiful property! Gorgeous grounds filled with cute wallabies enjoying the grass and roaming freely. There’s even a local white wallaby which we saw each day! The view towards the bay is gorgeous! The house is divine with 3 bedrooms and a cute mezzanine area with a pull down ladder. Well appointed house that had everything we needed - pod coffee machine and a coffee peculator. We loved the super cuddly pillows, doonas and linen - so crisp and nice!

One of the best places I have stayed for the price. The cottage was amazing for 2. We had the best 2 nights here, quiet, peaceful with everything you could want to cook and stay for as long as you like. The wildlife comes right to the door and there is so much to see and do just down the road. The hosts were amazing and helped to organise a tour, lunch at a winery and are there for any questions. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

What a stunning spot. A really beautiful cottage with a luxury feel but not pretentious. Such a comfy bed and the fireplace and spa made it extra special. Wildlufe galore. Even the elusive white wallabies showed themselves often! Would love to stay longer next time. Two nights was not enough.

Absolutely stunning. They have honestly thought of everything here and have furnished with only the best comforts and appliances.

Wallabies outside the windows all day everyday.

I've never been so relaxed.
