We ordered salt and pepper squid, grilled snapped and fried snapper. All were excellent and cooked to perfection.

We loved our meal here. The chef was very friendly as well and happy to talk to us about his style of cooking and the options. We had the seafood basket and loved it. The fish and the chips were the best I’ve had in Perth in a long time. We also thought the prawns and scallops were huge. The most important thing was that the food was quite light, it was not dripping in grease and I felt great afterwards. High quality and clean oil makes a difference. Great selection of juices and drinks too.

The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. The best fish and chips I've tried in Perth. Good portion, very tasty, and beautiful presentation.

The service was quick and the person who got our order was really polite and passionate about her job. We'll definitely order from here again.

HANDS DOWN THE BEAT FISH AND CHIPS I HAVE EATEN IN MY LIFE!* EVER! My elderly mother and I have had this a couple times now. We will be regular returning customers now. Twice it has been so perfect in every way. and will be seeing them every few days now. Because this is the best quality produce I have ever had (and I am very fussy with fish and chips) The fish is divine! We have been waiting so long for a good fish and chips restaurant. And this place is by far the best. I challenge anyone to find such quality. And the prices are very low for what you get. I can not recommend this place enough.I guarantee you will not find better North of River.

Great quality fish. Not greasy. Serving sizes are good (not too much) and chips are crispy.

I've been here numerous times and have never been let down. The snapper, fish and chips and sea bream are all amazing. The chips are also well seasoned and balanced. Yes it's pricey but if you do the maths it has to be pricey. In my opinion it's good value for money. You'll not find better fish and chips elsewhere. After watching them prepare numerous meals I can confidently say they are health and safety conscious and I'm definitely going to be going there more in the future. 5/5.

What a find! This review won't do it justice. An extraordinary fish'n'chip shop that has to be experienced to be appreciated. From the crisp, non-oily fish, the chips made from local potato to the fascinating and extensive menu...you will not be disappointed. I can't believe I had never been there before. You really must do yourself a favour and go!

The measure of any fish and chip shop is how they cook their chips and these guys get it 100% right; slightly crispy on the outside, perfect texture on the inside. Friendly service and very generous portions and very reasonable prices. There are very few fish and chip shops I would give 5 stars but this is definitely one of them.

The Best Fish & Chips in Perth. They may not be the cheapest compared to their competitors, however the fish is always of a high quality.

Unlike other Fish & Chip places, their product doesn't appear to be oily. Would love to know how they do it.

The seafood and salad are fantastic! The chips are nice and crispy.
Perhaps a little expensive, but again that price is likely due to the locally sourced fresh seafood.
The calimari was A grade and easily the best I’ve had.

Gourmet Seafood may well be the best in Perth, offering freshness and quality, warm and friendly service with in-depth knowledge of local seafood. They not only source, prepare and cook excellent seafood, but their vegetable accompaniments are a 'must'.

Very polite staff, comfortable oriental vibe with great tasting fish and chips! I love the convenient location as it has heaps of other restaurants/bars/cafes along scarborough beach road. 5 stars.
