Simon Tolley Cellar Door & Accommodation

This is a warm and welcoming winery with more of a homey experience. The vista is expansive, with a covered outside area with cafe blinds and a cosy inside. Pet friendly, and live music at times. The food is reasonably priced, especially the tasty pizzas and various desserts. And is Simon Tolley aloof...not at all, he walks amongst you and will share a yarn and a smile. See you there!

Simon Tolley Lodge was stunning - a perfect holiday house for a long weekend in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully decorated, enormous living spaces, and so well appointed. They had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, the linens and towels were lovely, and very comfortable beds. Excellent communication in the lead up, they gave us a great list of everything we'd need to buy, do or see in the hills. Loved our stay there and will definitely come again!

We loved our day at Simon Tolley Wines. Great wines, excellent staff, wonderful venue with amazing views. Simon took us down to the paddocks to see his horse. A great way to spend my husband's 70th birthday with our family. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend.

Was recommended this winery by a friend and we are incredibly happy we went. The experience provided by Malou (?) and Simon Tolley was tailored to our group which made it very personal, entertaining, and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and was one of our favourite wineries of the day. It is definitely on our list to go back and buy even more wine ☺

They have a great range of wines from white - red and the tasting is awesome with the matched cheeses.

What a beautiful Dog friendly place with great wines and grounds.
We had a wonderful relaxing day with a bottle of their amazing Pinot Rose and a lovely tasting cheese platter on the lawns with our dog under the shade of a tree. The owners and staff made a special effort to make the day a great experience.
If you want a different experience where you can bring your Friendly Dog this is definitely worth a visit!
We ended up buying couple of their wines to take with us.

One of our favourite Cellar Doors to visit. Our pooch loves it too. They gave us a complimentary bag of dog treats on arrival. Food very reasonably priced and one of the best, flexible wine memberships we are in. Let’s not forget to mention beautiful wine and staff.

Easily the most delicious South Australian SB. Coupled with the delicious local produce platters, stunning setting and warm, welcoming hosts (including Simon himself), this winery is an outstanding way to spend your day.

Delicious wines and wonderful hospitality. We definitely recommend the Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir. You *could* try to just stop by, but we reckon you’d easily lose an hour or two sipping and enjoying the view and chatting with Simon (and Tilly the dog).

We had a sensational afternoon at Simon Tolley. Anna & team were incredibly warm and gracious in their hosting. The views were great and the wines were even better. Highly recommended. We will be back!

The cellar door is amazing, lovely spots to sit inside and out. Wines were amazing, the rose and the pinot noir were particular favourites. Wine and cheese tasting is $25, has a generous pour and the price is very reasonable for the experience that comes with it. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the accomodation next door, done up so nicely and would be perfect for wedding accomodation. Will certainly be going back

Sunday’s are for dogs so you’ll be surrounded by all sorts of amazing canines whilst enjoying wine in the beautiful surrounds. The cellardoor over looks beautiful hills covered with rows of vines and broken up with stunning gum trees. Nice grassed area to soak up the sun or enjoy one of the several outdoor games set up for use

We hired Simon Tolley Lodge for 2 nights for our wedding accomodation. The accomodation and views are both absolutely stunning. The house is large, with 5 bedrooms, which was perfect for myself and my bridesmaids the stay the night before our wedding. We set-up the make-up and hair stations in the large living area and there was ample space for 8 women to get ready for the big day, along with enough space for the 2 flower girls to sit and play together. The kitchen is large with quality appliances, allowing us to make our own dinner the night before and our own breakfast grazing table for the morning of. Each room was large, clean and quality. So many amazing photo opportunities on the property as well. My now husband and I stayed the night of our wedding at the accomodation as well and it was the perfect place to come back to and a beautiful view to wake up to as a married couple. Great communication throughout the planning process and delicious complimentary treats upon arrival. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful wines and cellar door but most of all amazing owners. They took time to talk us through their variates, history and work in such a passionate and easy going way. Their welcoming chats and their 2017 Shiraz are definitely the highlights of the region for us.
