Lions Hearing Dogs Australia

I was pleased to be given a guided tour around the facilities.
The work that goes into training appropriate dogs to enable people with hearing impairment to help live a safe and healthy life.
They are starting also training dogs to alert there human of diabetic conditions.
They are always in need of ongoing support and are in the process of needing funding to expand the complex to help support their there goals.

I attended their open day recently, meeting staff and dogs. I'd thoroughly recommend this charity. The amount of time that's put into the specialised training for each and every dog is appreciated by both the deaf/hard of hearing community and the medical emergency recipients.
