Blickinstal Barossa Valley Retreat

Great location with beautiful views and all amenities and facilities close to property. Friendly staff had early check in loved the spa in room. Quiet romantic place to stay and get away to relax.

This location is excellent. I arrived and was able to check into my room at midday which was perfect and allowed me to go out and enjoy the rest of my afternoon without worrying about dropping off my luggage.

The room was very nice and contained a well stocked fridge with food and drinks for my stay. The vineyard was really nice to walk around in the morning also. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We have had the best 3 days at the Blickinstal cottages. It was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! A real retreat. We loved the outdoor area, sitting on the sofa and having a glass of wine in the evening while the sun went down. We ended up not going out for dinner both nights as we didn't want to leave the beautiful cottage. We cooked and enjoyed the place. The staff really take good care of you, and we loved the complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea everyday. Especially the afternoon tea! The sticky date pudding and chocolate brownies were incredible. We had a fire both nights and a made use of the beautiful spa bath. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved this place! The facilities were clean and in working order, the bed was comfortable, and th spa bath is a nice touch. The location is good if you're exploring the Barossa, and it was nice to go for a walk around the vineyard as the sun set.

Very quiet, nice cosy view from the front door and window, next to the vine yard, chickens and lots of birds life.

Inside is big enough for 2 adults. Bed was very comfortable. Not soft not hard. Elec blanket kept us warm in bed. Had a good sleep. Little kitchen helped our meal.

Little breakfast was prepared for us. That was really kind.
Wish we could stay more nights.

My husband took me here for a surprise birthday retreat 2 years ago and he chose the best place ever. I've been searching for it ever since!
The apartment was amazing, with a beautiful cosy wood fire, spa bath and comfortable bed also. The afternoon tea was wonderful and the breakfasts amazing! All homemade cakes and jams (had to buy some to come home with)
Location was great and so close to everything we could've wanted. It was a beautiful romantic getaway that has been imprinted in my memory. Thank you, I hold those memories dear to my dear heart ♥

Only stayed one night, Wish we had stayed more. The views are majestic. The breakfast and tea meals are grand. Jenny gave us a lot of good tourist advice, and was a great help. The complimentary bottle of wine was superb. Really a highlight of our 6 weeks stay in Australia.

Nice clean room with WiFi, they have kitchenette and complimentary breakfast that you can prepare and cook in the room. They have bbq facilities outside as well. We saw alpacas but they were a bit far away. Nice greenery and the yard is big.

The room is beautiful, with lovely surrounding views. The service is excellent, with fresh cooked breakfast and the option of a delicious afternoon tea. We love it here, we will be coming back again.

Cosy bed and breakfast located in a vineyard a few kilometres out of Tanunda. Quiet rooms with a cooked breakfast supplied as well as daily afternoon teas. Good barbeque area and a friendly cat named Roxy. Staff are wonderful and many international travellers stay at this boutique accommodation with just 6 rooms.

Gorgeous little bed and breakfast tucked away in Bethany. Wonderful for a couples getaway! Nice and close to some very nice wineries including Grant Burge, Bethany wines and Turkey Flat

Majestic settings. Great views of the wineries. There's chickens, and lamas on the property. Enjoyed the accomodation, it was clean, updated and spacious. Owner was really helpful and nice, went above and beyond my expectations.

A gem! Plenty of space in a well equipped suite. Dead quiet other than the birds. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hosts here at Blinkinstal are exceptional, and the setting here is nothing short of beautiful, being set among vines, bird life, and great sunsets are often seen from guests staying at Blinkinstal. There is also undercover BBQ area, and some rooms have spa/fires. Be sure to book here, the next time you are coming to the Barossa Valley!

Great accommodation in private elevated location, close to Tanunda and many wineries. Customers we pickup from Blickinstal always remark on the peaceful location of the property and the helpful friendly nature of the owners.

Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, superb views. Clean tidy accomodation. Outdoor fireplace and bbq available. A short drive to town.
