The Bamboos - Bush Campground

It was a beautiful place. Was a bit windy at times. We enjoyed the views of the beach and had a relaxing time. The stars at night were spectacular.

I'm guessing a dozen Bush camp places to be had. No power, no water, limited mobile reception, but for some.... That's perfect!

Looked like it would be a nice place to camp. No facilities though.

I'm sure camping at easter wasn't ideal to find a great camping spot but this whole area really is gorgeous. The views are amazing with the sounds of the ocean, just remember that if you bring something with you, take it home with you. Very disappointing to see rubbish everywhere.

Beautiful spot and perfect beach but damn the flies are by the millions and unrelenting until the sun goes down during Dec/Jan

Perfect place, beach is amazing in the night,very quite and serene sunset.. highly recommended

Must be fully self sufficient.

Enjoyed our trip. Dunes protect from ocean winds.

The good: Most amazing beautiful beach and sunset, swam with dolphins. We were bogged and helped out by some really kind people!

The bad: we were consistently intruded on by a man camping there. His name was Andrew and he told us he camps there often and was persistently harassing us and making us uncomfortable- which is a shame when there’s no service and you’re bogged and can’t get away. Andrew sucked. So beautiful yes but beware ladies.

Nice remote campsite. Bit of rubbish and broken glass around. With a clean-up it would be perfect.
