The Foreshore Bar & Restaurant

We stopped here late on a Sunday afternoon before getting back onto our cruise liner. We were warmly welcomed and given several options for a table. The service was excellent our waitress a young woman was lovely. Food was delicious and we tried a local wine which was very nice.Overall we had a great dining experience at this little local restaurant. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant in a great location with a great view.
Served for my group of 25 people. Had a 3 course lunch. One guest noted the chicken breast was the tastiest he had ever had. Everyone were happy with their selection and the serves were huge. Smiling and attentive staff looked after us, providing an excellent service.

Had risotto and fish and chips. Food were absolutely amazing. Vibes were 10/10. Would recommend!

Location is beautiful. This gorgeous restaurant has plenty of seating arrangements both outside and inside. You get a scenic view of the sea shore while dining. Menu has decent options, prices are reasonable considering the location.
Service and Food quality are good. Staff serve food with a smile.

I came here with the family for a lovely dinner. Service was great and we had a nice view on the outside deck. I had the oysters, the soup of the day and the daily special which was sole, chips and salad which was all fresh and delicious!

The best food I had in my 4 weeks vacation. Unfortunately I left my camera in the car but the food was really really great. As a starter the salmon pate, then I went for the shrimps with tomato risotto and it was so delicious. As a dessert I had the chocolate cake- really good. The view at the sea was a bonus.

Probably our third time here, and every single time we have not been disappointed.

We love the food and service at the Foreshore. The view is spectacular.
For those concerned with dining out in these covid times the Foreshore has a large wrap around outdoor covered deck and a separate uncovered smaller deck both overlooking the water. Please support this gem of a restaurant. We highly recommend it.
Prices are reasonable with fresh produce and they sell some local Island beer and wines.
You can catch the most memorable sunsets at the dinner service.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, beautiful staff. We had a baby and the staff were so accomodating and even kind enough to offer to walk around with him so we could eat our meal. You don’t get service like that anywhere. Desserts are next level. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for late lunch around 15:00 and the elder lady was very hospitality and provided very great service to us, we’re so appreciate it!!
All the food was cooked freshly and very delicious, can felt the love from chef. Our parma got delicious sauce and fresh chicken breast made Schnitzel, it also come with nice garden salad with carrots and bean shoots; another steak sandwich comes nice sourdough with homemade mayo, caramelized and beetroot. Highly recommend it for amazing food, great service and view.

Was greeted by lovely service and the food was delicious very tastey. The oysters were so good.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to have a date night after lockdown. We just recently moved to Rhyll and noticed the foreshore were open. 10 out of 10 hands down. Everything was absolutely fantastic, food and service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back 😍

We ate here last Sunday and we’re still thinking how great it was! Service was excellent and the food was awesome!
We had the oysters (one with chilli and ginger which was delish!), the fish and chips (the batter was so light!!) and the chicken parma, which we both thought was the best that we’d ever had. All up we will definitely be heading back here next time we head down to Phillip Island!

What's not to like? Delicious and fresh food paired with friendly service and beautiful surrounds. A small menu with lots of options and everything crafted with passion and flavour.

Stumbled into Rhyll by chance, it’s a quaint little fishing town with beautiful views of the bay. I stopped in for drinks and lunch and I must tell you that the food is absolutely amazing, service was excellent too, can’t recommend this place enough! If you are looking for a peaceful atmosphere to eat fine food this is it, everything we ordered was so fresh and flavoursome, wine was well matched to the flavours and deserts are also made in house! Definitely will be returning, do yourself a favour and stop in!
