Just needed a tap fitting because I didn't have the correct one. Staff were helpful and easily solved my problem.

Very helpful guys but gas refill price on a 4.5kg bottle is extreme. $34.50 for the refill, paid $19 at BBQ Galore in Esperance which is a lot more remote than Mallacoota. Great service. Terrible price.

Service like you would not believe. I went into this store and was confronted by the owner eating his cereal from a Chinese container. When I asked if he had some gas fittings for my bbq the short sharp answer was nope next question do you know where I won’t get one again short sharp answer was wouldn’t have a clue. With that I left the store and thanked him for his help. If you come to Mallacouta make sure you come well equipped as you won’t get any help or advise from this owner. When I get back to Melbourne I will be raising a complaint with Home Hardware head office as this is not a good look for there brand or the town in general,

The prices on the shelves have no bearing on what they will charge you. I was also surprised to discover that the price quoted did not include GST. For example one product had a price of $16 on the shelf, $25 on the till, but ultimately I paid $27.50, once GST was added. Another product was $28 on the shelf, but actually had a sticker all but hidden for $52 + GST = $57.20. If it isn't fraud, it is at the very least morally questionable. Are they incompetent, or are they dodgy. Either way, it all ends the same. I cannot recommend them, they cannot be trusted.

This shop charges 3-5 times (!!!) the normal price for certain items. I can understand charging 50% more but ripping people off for buying essentials is kind of immoral and unethical.

So don't count on buying anything here and make sure you bring everything you need in Mallacoota.

I hope there will be a temporary market stand opening for selling similar stuff at more reasonable premiums.

Closes at 4.30 and I turn up at 4.33 and ask question of whether he had anything to fix a hole in petrol tank, noting I will come back in morning. Said he had no idea and told me, not asked, to get out of doorway. So unhelpful and rude I am driving to Eden rather than go to his hardware.

Shop around for your gas refills you might be astonished by the price differences. Have no intention on returning to this store. So much for business in Mallacoota wanting tourists to support the community.

In a time of a fire crisis today December 30th 2019 this store increased the price of garden hoses to profit from people in need ! Greedy greedy people no community spirit in this store !!!!!
