In my opinion, this the best out of the caravan parks in Mallacoota.

The owners are wonderful and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxing.

The ablution blocks are very clean. They may be a bit older but the owners are in the process of doing them up.

It's a very short walk into town which is a bonus, you get the beauty of the surrounding bush with the ocean just a small distance away.

Would highly recommend.

We found Kris and Theo so obliging at all times. Even to the point of running us into town. The amenities block and the camp kitchen were always extremely clean and neat. We will highly recommend this park to all our friends. Thanks Kris and Theo.

Nice little place. Owners were friendly. Little bit far out of town to walk but short car ride.
Place is EV friendly, only issue is the plug angle meant there was considerable pressure pushing against the cord connection (tesla UMC).

A short walk to town with the chance of spotting wild Koalas. The kitchen was well equipped. There is a pool as well but it's a reasonable walk from most sites.

Great place for ramblers. The Mallacoota coastal track starts 500m down the road or you can cut through the Shady Gully track to get to the town then take the lakeside boardwalk north. We stayed in one of the gunyas which is as big as a small 2 bed apartment. Owners were really helpful.

A great quiet park complete with pool, laundry and really well kept tidy amenities just a short distance into town away from the heavy congested options. Relaxing, delightful stop.

Our arrival coincidentally was on our host’s first day…not that it was obvious as they were gracious, helpful and calm. The amenities block was spotless and the park is very cool and shady with beautiful leafy trees all around. Would recommend highly.

From when booking to arrival and then whilst there, excellent. Chris was extremely helpful. We had a blackout at night and Chris was at our door in the morning to advise of when the power was to be turned back on. Thank you to all that run the park. Very well maintained and clean. Unfortunately we had a large cobweb inside our cabin.
But overall, definitely the park to go too.

I'm on a circa 4000km road trip across the Eastern seaboard of the country via the coast, Mallacoota has been my first overnight stop inbetween Melbourne and Sydney.

Staff are friendly, check in was super easy, I was provided with a map of the main town and of the caravan park itself.

I had booked a cabin for an overnight stay, the cabins themselves are good, access is easy, the beds are on the firmer side which is great for someone with lower back pain issues like myself.

The cabins have private bathroom facilities, the shower is a touch on the small side but it's manageable, this is a sacrifice that has to be made with the room available.

It has an induction cooktop, microwave, fridge, beds are set up as a double bed then a row of bunk beds in the next room.

The cabins have modern reverse cycle split system units, maybe a touch undersized for the size of the cabins, but closing the curtains and giving it a bit of time I managed to turn the cabin into a ice box!

Prices are super cheap, if you have a lowered/modified car you might need to do some tactical driving on the cabin access road as it's a bit rough but 99% of people are going to have no dramas here.

Keep up the great work team, thanks for your hospitality!

Only stayed one night in the cabin so didn’t explore much but the cabin was sparkling clean and the bedding and towels were lovely and soft. Friendly people and very peaceful little park.

Super clean! My family and I had a great night, and the cabin we rented was great. Also in a lovely area, we took an evening walk around and, wow, the beach is beautiful, to say the least!

Quiet away from traffic noise. 1k stroll into town, so leave your vehicle and walk to the centre of town for a meal. 'Shady' has the cleanest facilities I have ever seen in a holiday park. Very welcoming owners and a good variety of accomodation if you didn't bring you own.

Very clean and very well managed camping/caravan park. Its got both powered and unpowered site options, along with array of cabin options. Just a few minutes drive to beach, lakes and town centre.
Common bathrooms and toilets are very clean. Nice arrangements for bbq, common kitchen and a laundromat as well! Highly efficient, courteous and friendly staffs! Highly Recommended!
