Lucy's

Stopped over at Mallacoota for one night. The caravan park recommended us Lucy's!
I've been eat Chinese for all my life. Lucy done a great job! The dishes are tasty and good price! I would highly recommend Lucy's to everyone!

Wonderfull place right next to a zen garden pathway. We experienced some bad customers but the staff was kind enough to move them. Loved the whole place! This is the second time we have been to Mallacoota. This place is a must go if you are staying here for a nice getaway.

Lucy’s is a real gem in Mallacoota. The dumplings and hand made rice noodles are fantastic and the laksa was packed with flavour and overflowing with sea food. Great prices, large serves and esoteric service make for a winning package.

Painting a mural in Mallacoota at the pre-school and I asked where I could sample my first taste of abalone. ‘Lucy’s!’ I was told. It was the animated delivery that made me think ‘this is going to be amazing’. It was. I think I just had the best culinary experience of my life. Simple, quick, insanely delicious. Honest. Wonderful. Quirky like this incredible little town. Get off that highway and come to Mallacoota because it is a paradise. Drop in to Lucy’s and just enjoy.

Ordered Chinese on a cold wet raining evening. Lived in China for 3 years and I have to say this was delicious! Like being back there. Totally recommend. When it’s busy, it’s worth the wait. Had special fried rice, chicken vegetable and cashew, sweet and sour pork.

Very surprising. Excellent, well above average food!! Large serving sizes too, even the small serve was a bit larger than I expected for lunch.

Lovely location, but the building is a tiny bit run down, which sort of adds to the experience..

Delicious food & generous portion sizes. Staff were very friendly and accomodating to all our requests. Fresh, filling, yummy food, with great service and a warm place to eat - what more could a traveller ask for :)

This restaurant is the best. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Can't fault it in any way. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Mallacoota’s diamond amongst the rough. The best Chinese food I have had - remarkable dims sims, handmade rice noodles, anything that is Lucy’s signature! Amazing, lovely staff! Do not leave here without eating at Lucy’s.

Your only options in Mallacoota at the moment are pretty much the pub and Lucy’s. do yourself a favour and pop over to Lucy’s. We got a bbq pork dish and a pork noodle which were both really good. The stand out for me though was the bbq pork buns which were massive and so so good! I would go back in a heartbeat for those buns alone. There is a large selection of beers and the place also does takeaway. Just be aware that they do get hammered with orders so it may take longer that usual. Don’t whinge about it, everywhere in Aus has staff shortages at the moment.

Absolutely lovely, very authentic, well presented and quick. We will be back. My favourite was my mum’s Singapore noodles

We were told this place was highly rated and it did not disappoint! the dim sims were to die for, and the first time I have had dim sims that haven't left me feeling stodgy, very fresh, lots of flavour, especially the home made noodles! and Lucy was super lovely! great service

Easy to find, great food even had a water bowl for the dogs outside and seating near the foot path in all great .

Good Chinese food including noodles. Local seafood including abalone. Curry Laksa is excellent. Popular with locals. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Be prepared for a wait as it's a two person operation but the food is really good, and generous. The dumplings were freshly made but needed the soy & chilli while the abalone noodles & spicy beef were great. They stayed friendly despite being rushed with a constant queue.

House made spring rolls and dumplings entrees delicious. A fantastic menu to choose from. We tried hot and spicy beef strips, scallops and vegies in garlic sauce, special fried rice. Generous amount of scallops in that dish. All dishes exceptional. Very reasonably priced. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant, and will make sure we return on our next visit to Mallacoota.

One of the best stir fried Chinese I had. Better than alot in the capital cities and in Asian cities. I would take the detour just for Lucy's!

If you are ever in Mallacoota you must visit Lucy's Chinese restaurant, inside the restaurant is quite rustic and the food is excellent, best Chinese I've tried in a long time and the waitress is cute.😁

My wife and I were so cold due to the weather that we wanted soup to warm us up. The wife ordered wan ton that came in a big bowl with about 12 large wan tons and I ordered Laska soup that was very spicy but so good with 5 prawns, fish, and veggies. We watched so many excellent dishes being brought out of the kitchen that we were jealous not to be able to order more. Everyone leaving were thanking the owner on such a good meal. Don't miss your opportunity for an excellent feed.
