We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at Bluebonnet, where we indulged in their amazing pork ribs and lamb ribs. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was buzzing with good vibes. To top it off, the caramel pear crumble with vanilla ice cream was an absolute hit! Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a memorable dining experience.

The food was amazing and the brisket was to die for. Shared a platter with my wife and 5 y.o. The mac and cheese was unexpected but I loved it. I really like the atmosphere and interior, the wood bar front looked good. Best bit, there was enough for some lunch the next day. Not super cheap but you get what you pay for.

Have been here a few times and nothing changes. Always amazing food with a great variety to choose from at reasonable prices. Maybe too much because I want it all! Very cool space that can cater to small and large groups. The staff are also so friendly and lovely. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

I dined with a group of 8 friends and we opted for the "Feed Me" pack, which included a delightful selection of their best dishes. I'm pleased to say that the dining experience was truly exceptional, from the exquisite meal to the incredible service. It made for a fantastic evening altogether!

Fair to say this is the best American bbq place I've been in Australia. The brisket was perfect, maybe could have had a bit more of a smokey flavour but I'm being very pedantic here. The smoked pork belly was great too. I'd also highly recommend the mash and the slaw. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back

Absolutely delicious, the best BBQ I've ever had. Everything was moist and perfectly cooked! Had an absolutely beautiful smokey flavor. I definitely reccomend coming here if you're visiting the city!

Bottomless BBQ is quite good value for $65pp. You dont get to choose your own meats though. They would bring out tray after tray of predetermined meats/sides. After you complete a tray you wait ~20 minutes for the next tray. I think most people can finish 2 trays to nearly break even from normal orders.
We went on a Tuesday night, the French waiter provided excellent service (thanks).

We ordered takeaway this time and I did notice the portions of sides were a lot smaller. Taste was fantastic as always - love the mac n cheese, miss the corn bread but the waffle is ok, love the mash, love the brisket, love the ribs … great humans who work there too!!!

Great cuts of meat, treated really well. Our experience was on par with any American BBQ experience we’ve ever had. Honestly, zero criticism of the food. We had the brisket, coffee-rubbed lamb ribs, beef cheeks, and sausage; all were cooked to perfection and had their own unique flavour. Amazing food, great staff, cool atmosphere; definitely the sort of place I’ll be taking people to.

Sooo good! I’ve been to Blue Bonnet a number of times and will definitely continue going back. The restaurant has a great ambience and the smell of smokey bbq goodness adds to the atmosphere. It’s really cool that you can also catch a glimpse into the kitchen to see the chefs at work where the magic happens.

This time, we went for the Feed Me menu, which was a huge share platter with a range of meats. I particularly liked the brisket which was super tender and juicy, as well as the smoked short ribs. All the meats were skilfully cooked and were well seasoned. Portion sizes were good, we were all left satiated with a full belly.

The sides were also good accompaniments to the meat, especially the delicious creamy mac’n’cheese, and the slaws were crunchy and refreshing, which were a good contrast to the meats.

I also highly rate the cocktails, the margaritas were well balanced and delicious. They also have a large range of whiskies, which the bar tender was very knowledgeable about and provided great recommendations.

I thought that everything was reasonably priced and on par with other restaurants. When considering value for money, it’s not just about the cost of the food, but also the careful preparation, smoking time, and the many hours of effort to produce a high quality meal.

It’s also a great venue with comforting and satisfying style of food for these chilly wintery evenings or summer bbq vibes.

Given that Bluebonnet is in our top 3 favourite restaurants, there was no hesitation in requesting Mabel be at our wedding. Several lockdowns and reschedules later, Chris was eager to meet with us and honour all previous plans. By the time the day arrived, it was like having a friend cater for us. Chris thrived with every challenge and bizarre aesthetic request we threw at them, from the steep dirt tracks and cold cast iron trays we provided, they went above and beyond and made it all work. Bluebonnet stood out as a feature of our event with a 'meat ceremony' presented in our Viking hall. And the food! It was glorious! Beef brisket, lamb and pork belly, as well as the smoked jackfruit absolutely blew our guests away. Our veg and vegan friends were catered for (though some were seduced by the meat.. and tried it..). The vegetarian options were also sought after by all. Everything was simply delicious! We aim to relive this experience for the rest of our lives!

I recently visited this Texan-style BBQ restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the delicious food and fantastic atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the tantalizing aroma of smoked meat and the warm hospitality of the staff.

The menu boasts a variety of mouth-watering dishes, all smoked to perfection using traditional Texan techniques. I highly recommend the brisket and pulled pork, which were both incredibly tender and flavourful. The sides were also outstanding, with creamy mac and cheese being a personal favourite. We tried most dishes by ordering with the feed me menu which had a great amount of food included.

What really sets this restaurant apart, however, is the welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the decor creates a cozy and comfortable ambiance.

Overall, I highly recommend this Texan-style BBQ restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious BBQ. I'll definitely be back for more!

Nice food in a nice area. It'll be so nice to walk around the area especially when it's getting warm now. Then feed yourself with a lot of meats and some drinks for the weekend. Love the service as well, was nice, friendly and professional. Really has its own style of decoration. The meat is a little bit salty for me cuz I didn't have it with bread I guess. But it was nice eating with the beetroot salad I ordered.

Excellent BBQ restaurant and bar. The slow cooked brisket was succulent, melt in the mouth perfection. Service was outstanding and the cost very reasonable. Will certainly return!

This was such a delicious treat! From entrance to exit Brie took such good care of us - they made our time at BlueBonnet beyond excellent!
We went with the all you can stuff-in option and it was well worth it - everything was scrum-dilli-uptious! We'll be returning ☆•°

Went in to Bluebonnet to try the all you can eat BBQ on a Tuesday night. Wait staff gave us a good rundown on how it would work- platter of meats and sides would come out and once that was completed another would be brought out until we said stop! A better variety than I'd expected of meats and very generous portions with the Brisket and Lamb ribs being our favourites! The smoked mash was a ripper side but it certainly slowed us down haha!

The staff were great and certainly weren't shy with the food, they actually encouraged us to get another platter but we were very full!

We got a $56pp auto-selection and got this spread. Entrees, the main platter, and dessert on top. Was heaps of food!
Very satisfied with our meal.
The decor and place was also really nice. Casual and relaxed environment.
