One of the best, most consistent wine stores in Melbourne and Australia, with reliable and knowledgeable advice always available. Fantastic range of classic and natural wines ftom some of the best national and international producers --- and a great beer selection.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good low and no alcohol beer options. Good variety of fantastic local beers as well as Belgium's fine drinks

They're always happy to recommend something, no matter the price range. Always friendly and never try to hard sell or upsell when you're just after a budget bottle to bring to a week day dinner. But also very knowledgeable when you need a recommendation for something nicer to bring to a more special occasion.

Don't let the description fool you, Blackhearts & Sparrows is more than a wine store. They stock a great range of local craft beers, as well as a small but very respectable range of international brews as well. You won't find your Carlton Draughts or Melbourne Bitters here, and I couldn't be happier! Oh and, yes, they have great wine as well.

Beer, wine, expertise from staff, this place has it all. Good selection if your after something a bit different. A tad more expensive then regular bottle shops, but thats totally cool cos it's better booze from people who know their shiz

Great advice from staff - told them what I was looking to spend and what types of wine I was looking for. They nailed it - the wines hit the mark and they didn't try to upsell me.

Great selection of wines. Perhaps not the cheapest but definitely they have some interesting choices of wines and beers.
