Great service
Great idea to have the option of small meals and still very generous and filling.
I have the BBQ pork ribs with chip's and salad and was perfect for me
The meat was cooked at perfection falling out of the bone with out a knife chip's are thick cut and crunchy even the salad had a nice condiment with sun dry tomatoes and Olives.

Great country pub. Take a break in Chiltern and dinner served from 1730. Good menu good drinks great Host and chef 👍

Staff was amazing very friendly and welcoming, the hotel had character and loved the atmosphere they have created. Got a parmi for lunch and the food was beautiful, can’t fault it what’s so ever. Would definitely recommend visiting this place for a feed or a drink.

Great place to eat. Interesting eclectic decor and good food at inexpensive prices. Always pleasant and enjoyable. We drop in on our way through from Sydney to Heathcote wine region.

Very cute pub, friendly staff and a great mix of locals and visitors on a Saturday evening.

We had a chicken parma each, generous portions, both of us couldn’t finish our plates. It came with a big portion of fresh, crisp fries and a yummy side salad. Pizzas looked great too!

Steve is fantastic to deal with at front of house.

We arrived on a Wednesday evening and were delighted to enjoy the Thai menu. My partner knew the pub offered Thai on certain nights. The meals were authentic and cooked perfectly. We had the beef with Thai basil and vegetables and a veggie jungle curry. Delicious! The publican was fantastic and has a great cellar of Rutherglen vino. He also provided some excellent insights into some of the speciality wines the local wineries have. We’ll come back - love Chiltern. We visited the pub the next day too and they have a lovely beer garden section.

Really friendly personal service . Good menu with small serves available. A variety of places to sit - inside and outside in the shed or under umbrellas. Would definitely visit again. Very dog friendly . Great country pub!!!

Great place for dinner and a couple of evening drinks. Food was delicious and the customer service was second to none, very friendly staff!! Would most definitely recommend to anyone travelling between NSW and Victoria for a meal. Thanks for having us and for the hospitality.

Last minute decision to go to Chiltern for lunch/coffee, shared a lemon pepper calamari at the Ironbark Bistro. Delicious!! Lovely old building, friendly staff, quick service.

What a find, had amazing thai food, loved it. Very busy and chef was flat out but came through with the goods.

Town is very nice, we need to visit next time during the day

Lovely meals, has lighter seniors options at a cheaper price. I had seniors Fish, chips & salad which was just right & hubby had regular parmy which was huge. Our dog was welcomed in the outdoor area. Very welcoming friendly staff

Light menu is genius! Pub setting was lovely and hospitality all round was great.

Relieved to find somewhere to eat on a Wednesday evening, even if it meant driving 15 minutes to another town. This place clearly has made its experimental parma its own niche and does a great job with it. Had the Mexican parma and the ribs, both of which were great.

Highly recommend this place we stopped in on our way back to QLD the meals are huge and so delicious. I had the surf and turf and hubby had the steak with mushroom gravy, our steaks were cooked to our liking and flavoursome. Kids had the spaghetti and love it. The people are so welcoming and friendly. It’s kid friendly and the atmosphere is nice! Thanks for a lovely night Ironbark.

We had a beautiful mother's day lunch at the Iron Bark Bistro and Tavern at Chiltern. Eight of us sat down to eat and we were all happy with our choices. Service was friendly and the wait to be served very reasonable. My son says they also do some of the best Thai that he has eaten. We will need to go back and try the Thai out. Happy people after our lunch experience.

The atmosphere inside and outside and Service the service is a real pleasure, IMO-have the best Pizzas anywhere, The other Pub meals we’ve had here are at a very high standard and delicious.
