Gowings of Mallacoota

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for seven nights over the Easter 2023 week. The apartment appeared to be recently renovated, decor was tasteful and functional. Everything within the apartment worked as intended, location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of the CDB. Good value for money accommodation.
Jenny the hostess was friendly and a great source of local knowledge and information for us.
Would stay again 👌

We stayed for 4 nights prior to Xmas. 2 adults, 2 children. While I don’t believe all their units are created equal (Based on google pictures), we were in Unit 13 which I could not fault. Water view. Beautiful modern decor. Comfortable beds. Kitted our with everything we needed from a kitchen and laundry perspective. Great location as very walking distance to everything. Jenny the host is also lovely and accommodating. Would definitely stay again in the same standard Unit.

Comfortable, with room to move, and everything you’ll need for a happy holiday! So neat, clean and tidy and a budget price right by the water. Couldn’t have asked for more, and had a friendly manager without equal, so YES i had a fabulous week at Gowings!

We stayed three night in unit 14. It has everything you need. A full kitchen including dishwasher. Bedrooms seperate to living areas which was fantastic at our son's bedtime. They even had a washing machine inside the unit. The location is great. Close to the shops and the foreshore. Staff were lovely and the unit was immaculate. We're already planning a week long stay this time next year.

We stayed 3 nights and just loved it. Clean modern room looking over the lake in a perfect location to the town and lake. Long walk or short drive to beach and golf club. Jenny is a fantastic and helpful host. Thanks very much.

Apartment was very nicely decorated, 2 balconies, great pool and very good location

Excellent location! Great facilities, walk to the town in 2 mins, boat ramp etc quiet at night.

Clean, nicely furnished apartment. Nice pool although the surrounds are pretty dated. Great location. Kids loved it although management didn't love our kids.

Just stayed for a couple of nights great rooms great position across from water and very short walk to main shopping area and hotel Jennie the owner is very friendly and great to talk to

Does not even deserve 1 star. Arriving for check in for a 1 bedroom apartment early evening to check in only to be rudely refused our booking because we had children (2 babies under two) who dont require beds or linen on the basis that we wont fit. Werent even allowed to check out the size of the room and turned away with tired babies needing a sleep with no where else to stay in peak season. Absolutely appalled.

Terrible service.
Worst customer service ever.
Do not stay here. Lady is rude and unreasonable.
