Our time at the Apartment was truly special, something we'll cherish for a lifetime. It was incredibly tidy, felt like a home away from home, and you, David, were an amazing host. Even though this facility is for a minimum of 5 days during these peak season, we were fortunate to secure a last-minute spot due to a cancellation, and it honestly felt like fate.

David went above and beyond, recommending local gems like The Boat guy, the ferry service, and hidden gems in Mallacoota. It truly felt like we had a friend guiding us through the best experiences.

The Stay had this adorable tiny farm with chickens and a charming bee hive garden—my kids absolutely adored it. The rooms were not just clean but spotless. I'll definitely be recommending this place and, without a doubt, coming back.

David, your thoughtful gift for my children, the Honey Jar with Love, is something we feel so lucky to have received. It's a sweet touch that we'll save for gifting, perhaps to my Mom. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Really enjoyed our stay at Wave Oasis. The King Bed Apartment has a magnificent view, a great balcony, a full kitchen and was spacious throughout. Dave is a great communicator. I would stay again and highly recommend.

I was fortunate enough to book the studio with less than a weeks notice directly with Dave (owner). our room was comfortable, clean and excellent amenities. Good location, relaxing 3 days.

Great stay here, I had made a mistake with my booking dates and arrived earlier than planned. The staff were amazing and put a huge effort into fixing the problem for me. And to top it off, room was huge, bed very comfortable, breakfast yummy, very clean and easy walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

At short notice and looking online last week I came across this property and saw a vacancy. I called the Waves Oasis direct and spoke with the owner Dave who was extremely polite and told me he'd had a cancellation and one of his studio rooms was available. From Check-in to check-out the process was straightforward. The studio apartment was fitted out with a small kitchenette which was so handy as I was able to cook each night. Dave had highlighted a map upon arrival which meant I could navigate around the town and all the beautiful walks on offer at Mallacoota. This property is energy efficient and has electric car charging points. I also got to experience picking fresh oranges, lemons, and mandarins and was told I could help myself to the freshly grown spring onion and silver beet which was a bonus. Very friendly owners that where more helpful than the local tourist office. Having seen the rooms and met them I d recommend the place to anyone seeking a bit a better accommodation in the area.

Advertising and photos of this property are very very misleading.
Only one property has a view. Our 'deluxe' room with 'garden view' was small and gloomy with no garden and no view.
Be aware that this property is also a long walk to Mallacoota itself.
Very overpriced and very disappointing.
The owner refused to refund and would not negotiate.
