I love this place!

I have never been to Malaysia and I am not a famous food critic so I can't tell you if it tastes authentic but what I CAN tell you is The food here is VERY VERY yummy 💯🥰👍

Today we had

*Chicken spare ribs (with amazing special Taste of Borneo Black Pepper sauce)
*Fried Rice wrapped in omelette
*Black Pepper beef
*Fried chicken
*Steamed fish in ginger sauce

I feel so bad not writing the proper names for these dishes but the great thing is lots of the dishes have pictures on the menu so even if you have no idea what to order you can see what you might like.

There is plenty of on site parking to the rear of the building. There is a beautiful covered outdoor dining area outside.

Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff, we will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏

This resto provides Malaysian Chinese food. The menu on offer is interesting as they have some dishes that not normally available to other Malaysian restos.

I ordered meatball soup as it seems that is their original dish offered in their Sabah's Bakso resto. The dish has lots of beef meat and few bakso. I would prefer more meatballs though as the meat chunks are a bit tough. The taste is ok.

The Bandung drink was good however it got too much sugar syrup there. A third of it should be more than adequate.

I'll come back to try other dishes as they seem interesting.

Update Sep '22: I revise my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Ordered few more different dishes, and they were all very good. My most favourite is Hamchoi fish noodle soup. Tasty and not too salty despite using hamchoi (salty vegie).

All round good place with nice relaxing vibes. Food did not disappoint. However, they ran out of the fish we wanted to order. Pipi is good but I prefer petaling street in Glen Waverly for this dish. The roasted chicken with rice was great and the chicken rice had lots of flavour. Last of all the Milo drink was amazing with a nice balance of sweetness to wash down all the food. I would recommend this place, bring cash to avoid the surcharge.

Saw the menu got no pork servings. Asked the staff if the food is halal just to be sure and she said yes. The staffs were very friendly and the food was very nice. Ordered Sirap limau for my son and we loved it. Hot teh tarik for myself, very tasty but was not too hot, gets cold quite fast. They even played borneo song playlist in the restaurant. Toilet was very clean as well 😁

I rarely give any restaurant 5 stars for the food. But this is the exception! We had nasi lemak chicken, Mee goreng, laksa, Borneo chicken ribs with creamy sauce. The flavours hit all the right notes. We also ordered the cincau and Bandung drinks which came in almost jug sized mugs. Decor reflect the roots of the establishment - Borneo Kampung restaurants. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It also appears to be a popular hangout for Malaysians judging by the conversation - brings back many memories. Musical choice add to the ambience. We left completely satisfied having done justice to the chef's efforts. A sure winner and most certainly coming back with friends.

I have to becareful of what food I eat, anything could turn my stomach upside down and could make me spend hours in the toilets.

I am blown away by the food! The Mee Hon Bakso is the Best that I have tasted, the soup is so aromatic with rich rempah (spice mix). The mee mamak and Borneo ribs are so well done! I am so glad that I found this place! How I wish this place is nearer to where I stay so I don’t need to travel all the way here nevertheless it is definitely worth the journey! Will come back for more. 👍:)

Good food with the tofu pot. especially the orange milk tea (it called teh). So surprise that the fried rice in the base, it use the squid instead for onion. There is other taster and really well.

Driven past many times, and I always see people in there. So I think it must be nice. A friend of my partner came to visit last weekend, they are both Malaysian so we decided to give it a go. So glad I did the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food came out in about 5 minutes it was great. And the food was simply amazing...soooo tasty 😋

We always go for their fabulous mee bakso and nasi goreng kampung with petai. The 2 chili sambals that they serve are perfect to spice up the dishes. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Feels like ‘back home’. Plenty of parking on the side street and spacious seating inside.
