Chamman Ice Cream & Street Food Carlton

Great little spot for late night hang outs. Their paan ice cream is amazing and one of my favourites! Cute decor, only thing I would suggest is perhaps having comfier seating so we guests can stay for longer! Apart from that it’s a super cool place with lots of variety.

Their setup is quite unique.
I would recommend going there and trying falooda and gol gappe.

Went to Chamman on Eid after having dinner at Khabey on Lygon street. Could not ask the name of the brother who was on the reception but he was very kind as me and my kids were taking time in ordering ice cream. We took time to order and he was kind and patient. Enjoyed the ice cream so much that next day my kids asked me again for the ice cream but unfortunately Chamman being far from my place i took them to local ice cream shop. Delicious flavours of ice cream. 10/10 for the brothers working and managing there.

We tried their Gol gappe/panni puri and it was AMAZING !!

It was very fresh and filled with flavor.
Staff is very friendly and answered all of our questions.

Polite and courteous, great prices and an interesting range of flavors. I skipped the confusion and ordered the mixed lot of flavours, came out happily surprised.

Great service, good environment and friendly staff!! Went there for late night desert, ordered few different things from the menu and nothing disappointed us. Absolutely loved the rabdi falooda and chikoo milkshake.

I ordered 2 keshmeri chai from here as we were dining in zykiya, and the tea was good...
Rest of the thing I haven't tried and will go try some time in future...
Overall it was a good and positive experience..

Long overdue review of Chamman Icecream & Juice Bar... have been to this place a few times and saying that they have the best Dahi Bhalay and mouth watering Gol Gappay in Melbourne will be an understatement...

We found the falooda to be more towards the real deal as well... if you're craving for those late night snacks, would definitely recommend giving this place a go...

Love it here! food is fantastic. Drove 60min 100% worth it. My go-to is the gol gappe and dahi ballae 10/10

Tried beef Angus burger and some ice cream flavour and their malai kulfi.Loved the overall experience. And this guy treats you with smily face and best hospitality.

Enjoyed the entire delicious experience.. Great management.. Thank you for a dessert on house to accomodate the missing cabbage.. Will eat soon again❤

1st visit though my family goes there every now and then.
without a shadow of doubt best place in Melbourne for your snack needs.
they have good variety from gol gappe dahi bhalle papri chaat etc to ice creams juices milkshakes and variety of kulfi falooda

we tried
Gol Gappe
the presentation was amazing. gol gappe were filled with some different sauces to give you an amazing journey of taste

Dahi Bhalle
very fresh and tender and they were not dry from inside. again serving size was very generous as compared to its price.

Rabri Falooda with Kulfi
same like Lahore. it's hard to get this falooda as places serve peshawar style falooda which is totally different to Rabri Falooda with kulfi
so yes 10/10 for taste presentation and its price

Karak Chai
Tea was Fantastic served in Kulhar(clay cup). to give you real taste

ice creams and shakes were good as they are normally.

overall a must place to visit. prices are reasonable compared to taste quantity and presentation.

staff is very welcoming accommodating and hospitable.
the owner himself looks after everyone and tries his best to give the best.
this is why the staff is good

First time visited Melbourne. We tried their samosa chaat, anda shami burger and falooda. Everything was delicious. A welcoming gesture and few smiles could be a great improvement though!!

Lively atmosphere but not loud

Very good cafe if you are looking for authentic Indian sweets, faluda, chaat, panipuri etc. Its open at midnight also (till 2am) walkable distance from cbd

Lovely place to have some dessert after the food. So much variety of ice creams along with fruit juices and shakes plus sub-continent snacks like samosa, pani-puri and Rabadi. Staff is very polite and kind. You should try their Pan (beetle leaf) flavour ice cream which I reckon is one of their unique taste in Melbourne. Place is tidy and clean plus waiting time is less and price is reasonable. The only issue is parking especially during the day time but evening after 6 PM there are plenty of parkings around.
