Rhumbas at ANZ

This outlet of Rhumbas is a very busy and fast serving place located at the heart of the ANZ building at Docklands, Melbourne.
This place provides a wide variety of options to choose from for breakfast and lunch for the daily office hustlers wanting to grab a quick lunch between the meetings.
One of my Indian colleague introduced me to this place for their Indian menu items, and I wasn't disappointed at all.
Loved the options of the curries and rice they offer.
Their pasta dishes are pretty nice too.
I highly recommend their chicken curries with rice.

rhumbas crown,this was supposed to be a cheese toastie. I even spat the food out (no joke spat it back out!) and couldn't drink the coffee.

I think something tasted weird with the meat and I had to ask them for the cheese cause they tried to tell me that there was cheese but u can't see it cause it has melted so she handed me a tiny piece in her hands....but when I put the dam thing together myself I spat it out cause the meat tasted sour

High turnover of staff, and seems like they hire backpackers who appear to be poorly trained in making sandwiches or customer service.

Ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich. What I received could be a best described as a slice of crumbed paper. The chicken is virtually non existent and to cap it off the food handler doused the bread in a massive amount of margarine. Looks like the schnitzel is from a frozen packet. Threw the sandwich away. Terrible.

Don’t recommend.

This is the Rhumbas at Docklands Bourke street First time I went the sandwich was made great really tasty second time I went I found a hair and a tiny bit of aluminium foil in my sandwich which turned me off going there and then today I ordered a wrap and it was uneatable they put it in under the toaster for too long and the Mayo went gross and looked like cottage cheese I will not go back there! Not to mention the coffee isn't great either.

The lady who I think is the manager is the rudest person I have ever seen. She is never polite and always watches what you buy, for example if you regularly buy small coffee she sure knows you can only get small free coffee no other size. Never seen her smiling or be nice to people. Everyone else in this shop is amazing, but her attitude is the cause where most people are most likely dont shop here. I hope she changes to respect her customers who actually pays her wage...

Too many times orders come to the table completely wrong. This is the third time I’ve ordered the eggs Benedict that came with no toast and no hollandaise! It’s either the chef or the front desk but really, third strike.
I don’t even bother complaining any more, what’s the point.
I keep giving them a chance every six months to see if it’s any better but no dice. Think perhaps the staff need better training. Very hit and miss. Better off going to elements, at least it’s reliable.

The first time I had a hair in my cooked breakfast, I politely pointed it out, they apologised, I don’t ask for a refund. I don’t like throwing food away so ate it. The next morning, I again got a big breakfast from them, took it to my desk and as I nearly finished it, spotted another hair, promptly took it back and asked for a refund. The manager (a Middle Aged woman) refuses a refund saying I had eaten the breakfast. When I pointed it out that I have only just spotted the tiny hair, after finishing most of it, but you should still be refunding me as it’s happened the second time in a row, she abolaitelt refused. It’s shocking!!!

lady who says she's the owner, serves miserly portions for take away dishes. Has zero customer service skills and charges top dollar for tight-fisted portions. Not the successful way to run a takeaway business. They've lost a customer (and I'm sure more will follow suite). Lift your game, owner and look after your customers better.

Last time and never again! The manager and staff are so unhappy and everything you ask is such a hassle for them to make. It is always your fault if staff don't hear what you have ordered and the manager makes it sound like she is doing a favour to you by actually completing what you initially ordered anyway. I tried to give my feedback however it is clear that every staff in that store is roght however the customer is wrong. No more of this store's unpleasent service, i will not visit again and recommend people to stat away and go to other coffee shops right next to this place...

Awful. Server took half a bottle of sparkling wine out of the ice bucket and poured it down the sink, then as we tried to stop her she then reprimanded us for having it on the wrong part of the counter, so its our fault. When i asked for the manager/supervisor or just whoever is in charge i was told that they are on holidays "so no one"

Awful, rude, disrespectful.

Rude staff, no service skill. average expensive toast and coffee - don't bother when there's so many good options in Docklands now.

Nice crumb shnitz with hint of chicken! First and last time I go here.

Great if you fancy stale, flavourless food.
