We went during lunch time and it was empty.

My boyfriend and I had our first raw marinated soy sauce crabs and they were delicious! We also ordered the clam soup and it was amazing.

Would definitely return to try out other food

Loveee Seven Star! I always come here for the raw marinated crabs, so fresh, so juicy and hits the spot every time!
The atmosphere is lively and everyone seems to be enjoying their food too.
The staff are super friendly and nice, however took a while to see my raised hand sometimes (maybe it was extra busy)

It was the most delicious Korean restaurant I have ever eaten at.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was similar to that of a Korean Pocha place. The staff was friendly, and the food I ordered came out unexpectedly quickly.
The portions were generous for the price, and the quality of the food was very good. Especially, the jok-bal and shellfish soup were the best.!!

If I visit Melbourne next time, I would like to go again

Possibly my favourite place in Australia for Korean food! Everything ordered was an absolute hit. The pancakes are huge by the way, always leaving this place feeling super full. Their marinated seafood is always good quality and the cold noodles are definitely the best I’ve ever had! Will always visit when in Melbourne

Food was great, a must try are the cheese corn and korean fried chicken it’s boneless and crispy with full of flavors. We went there around midnight and it’s jam-packed with people and always a long line. A great place to hang out and have drinks 🍹😍.

Extremely massive portion! Perfect for sharing. Can get really busy so make sure you come early to secure the table. Love their chicken feet. The meat was so tender and juicy.

BEST MEAL IN MELBOURNE I'VE HAD HANDS DOWN. Honestly debatably best Korean I've ever had as well (but tbf I have not been to Korea)

We ordered 4 dishes for 4 of us cus we were ravenous and could not finish everything in the end, proving how big their portions are.

Garlic bolsam was hEAVENLY, perfectly juicy and meaty, together wrapped in lettuce with some samjang.. damn...

Beef bulgogi was HUGE and it tasted great as well but wasn't as mind blowing. But don't get me wrong it was defo delicious.

Kimchi seafood pancake was BUSSIN. With the outside edges being super crispy and was just SO YUMMY paired with the dipping sauce as well.

Last but definitely not least is the pork belly stew. MY GOODNESS was it dank,, so yummy. The broth was seafood based but it wasn't overpowering at all, super rich, super umami, generous portions, tender pork slices, LOTS of seafood inside, even some lil crabs.

MUST GO PLACE!!!!!

Great food, super nice staff, definitely a good place to stop by if you don’t mind the wait time to get in. Has all your classic Korean food favourites, great place to go to get a group of dishes for the group to share. Food quantity and quality were good and everyone enjoyed.

The food was delicious, but our place on that day was blown by the wind. As we all know, the wind in Melbourne‘s winter night is really powerful, and the army pot waited for a long time to cook. I caught a cold later.

My new favourite korean restaurant! The food was amazing! We came early at 5.15pm so we didn’t have to queue on weekend. I love their marinated crab and baby octopus. The fried chicken was sooo good too! Came with my group of friends and everyone loved it too!! Definitely will come back again and highly recommend this place to my friends!

Decided to give this place a shot during the night of Halloween. There was a long queue forming but we were lucky enough to be present before it started! The food was really good, the chicken was still hot and crispy and the creamy onion sauce complimented it well. Enjoyed the Seven Star Army Stew, had a nice kick of spiciness to it. Also had the seafood pancake which I did not manage to take a picture of but was delicious as well! Will definitely come back again soon, well done! 🤩

Came here in a group of 10 and ordered a feast. Every dish we tried was absolutely scrumptious - it's difficult to pick a favourite.

Some honourable mentions:
🔸 Stews - Their bulgogi and army stews and they were so flavourful. They were very generous with the meats + other ingredients in the stews.
🔸 Spicy chicken feet - The marinade tasted fabulous. An enjoyable level of spice.
🔸 Bossam - My friend Riana's favourite dish of the night. The pork was really tender. The dish also came with spicy squid, chili and garlic for additional flavour.
🔸 Rice w/ seaweed - Just the tastiest combo on earth. Can't go wrong.

Lastly, a quote by my friend: "the vibes here are great".

The fried chicken is as good as they say. A must try here! The Mongolian beef was quite a surprise, didn’t expect it to be so good! Both of these just costed over $80. Note that one dish is more than enough for 2 people.

Expect a long wait if you are going on a weekend.
