Yoon's Kitchen Oakleigh

A hidden gem in Oakleigh. I love their menus especially their signature soup, cold noodles is also highly recommend.
Staffs are friendly.

We had the spicy beef stew, fried chicken and rice balls. All were excellent. I won't say I'm very well versed with Korean restaurants, but this is my first time receiving spring onion kimchi as the sides. Bloody good stuff.

I think it is the first time to eat such delicious Korean food in Melbourne. The broth, which was brewed deeply from the bones, tasted deeper the more I ate, and each dish was perfect. The side dishes were tasty and the service was very friendly. Haejangguk(soup) was really the best and I couldn't get tired of it no matter how many days I ate it. I highly recommend this place and you won't regret it.

If you are looking for a quick Korean bites than Yoon is the place to go. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect as I think there are rooms for improvement but if you just after a quick Korean meal than you won’t go wrong.

Authentic 🇰🇷

Our first visit was as a couple, and this time it was with the full brood in tow. There was variety enough in the menu to satisfy all 5 of us. Kids had the original boneless fried chicken, squid rings and corn salad. Older one had the cold soba; missus and I shared the signature spicy beef rib soup.

Beef bone broth (their specialty) was spot on, heat from the spice was robust, and the ribs off the bone were generous and cooked perfectly. Pickles and condiments were generous. Happy and full for $64.10. Can’t wait to be back!

Update: they’ve recently increased their prices (as most places have) close to the end of 2022. There’s an expanded menu of entrees, mains and drinks. Mains now generally start at $22.

Loved the yuringi, excellent combination of sweet and sour + moist friend chicken. We usually get a creamy rose tteokbokki Evey time we're here, though it's best to share as it's very filling. The beef stew was excellent- you can really taste the deep flavour of the beef in the soup! Also, very friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 experience!

Have come here so many times and never been disappointed… Always left feeling so satisfied and full ☺👌🏽 Definitely recommend the Yuringi and Army Soup, especially for the cold days… But their Spicy Chewy Noodles are also so yummy and refreshing on the warmer days. Their customer service is also great with a pleasant and kind reception and easy street parking surrounding the restaurant.

Book in advance. This place is packed and there is a good reason why. For a reasonable price you can have authentic Korean food, that is tasty and fast. Get yourself some beef bulgogi, you will not be disappointed.

It was surprising that we found this place near office. The food was so tasty. Loved the kimchi cold noodle. The texture was fresh with crunchy sliced cucumber, seaweed and kimchi. The noodles came with rock ice, which js interesting.

Service was perfect, and the food was amazing. I really enjoyed it!!

Best choice was for lunch in cold weather 👍👍 should try beef bone soup

We bought take away which was nicely packed. The food was fresh and very tasty. Only negative was I wish the mashed potato was hot.

Found this quaint little Korean place in Oakleigh. Yoon's Kitchen. Place was buzzing, with lots of Koreans even for a Wednesday night. Hot soupy dishes perfect for this cold weather. Will come back to try other dishes.

Good place to share with friends and family because they’re serve large dishes and reasonable price. Their beef ribs soup is star to me. I also like their corn 🧀 and tokbokki as well.

Food was so delicious!!! Environment was very nice to dine in. Clean and spacious. The girl waitress, did not catch her name, was so friendly and accomodating! 10/10 customer service. Friendly staff.

One of my favorite Korean restaurants, been there every week recently, very frequent. The staff are very welcoming, the food are very Korean cuisine and the atmosphere are really warm. Please keep this style:)
