My experience with Dr Anton was nothing less than exceptional. From the initial consult I felt extremely comfortable and safe with my decision. I felt well informed to go ahead with surgery with clear expectations on the entire process. The procedure itself was extremely fast, pain free and worthwhile. I had no discomfort or pain post surgery and could see clearly by the end of day 1. Post op, Dr Anton and his team have been fantastic to ensure everything went smoothly. It has been a life changing result for me and I can’t believe I wore glasses for so long when this was so simple and easy. To conclude, my entire process with laser eye specialists was beyond fantastic and I could not recommend this business any more! Thank-you so much!

I recently had cataract surgery carried out by Dr Anton van Heerden from Armadale Eye Clinic.
The surgery was a great success with almost 20/20 vision restored as a result in my case. Anton’s professionalism and skills are admirable and I feel very fortunate to have been his patient.

I had Presbyond and Lasik procedures done 5 weeks ago to reverse both long and short sight issues. The team were very reassuring, the procedures combined were 38 seconds each eye (and easy!) My short sight was restored 110% instantly. AMAZING! I could see myself in the mirror after 14 years..... Long sight has taken longer, it took 6 days before I had any change, and my mid focal range (about 500m-1km) was slightly blurry up until a few days ago, although super long range was in focus. In the last 5 days everything has come into complete focus.
Having this procedure was the best decision I've made, I'm really happy. I have no problems driving at night, and I can read the teaniest writing.... I highly recommend, and Dr Anton is fantastic.

In June and August 2022, I had cataract surgery on both my eyes performed by Dr.Van Heerden. I'd worn bifocal glasses for many years. Having one eye done to correct distance vision and the other for reading/close-up had meant I now no longer need glasses at all ... the best of both worlds.
My distance vision is fantastic and I can read the finest of print.
I found Dr.Van Heerden to be a very caring and competent surgeon who kept me informed at all times: pre and post surgery. I also appreciated his follow-up care. Dr. Van Heerden's staff must surely be "hand-picked " as they too were fabulous, friendly and caring people.

I recently had SMILE done by Dr Van Heerden in May, and I have never been happier. He is the best doctor and is so professional the way he performs surgery. I have not had any difficulty after my surgery and it only took 2-3 days to recover with the blurriness going away in 2 weeks completely. I could drive after a week and i only experienced dry eyes for 4-5 months after but that is to be expected with a surgery like SMILE. The service that he provides is one of the best and I could not recommend him and his team enough.
