A memorable family Christmas was celebrated at Eaglehawk Country House.
The decor is superb, the accommodation first class, and a fully equipped state of the art kitchen, magnificent dining room and beautiful garden, all made our stay one to remember.
This property certainly has the “wow factor”
and is a credit to the owners.
It was, indeed, a privilege to spend time in such a magnificent place.

Superb!
My husband and I were married here on the weekend. I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful venue. The hotel is exquisitely decorated and all guests fell in love with the Hotel. There were several places to hold the ceremony and several rooms for dining and drinking as well as a beautiful garden setting.
Mark and Ken were both a delight to deal with and recommended several local Vendors for our celebrations.
We cannot recommend this fabulous venue highly enough.

An excellent venue for small groups. The hotel is beautifully appointed with everything that you could possibly need for a great break. Whilst the conservatory and garden offer opportunities for quiet relaxation, the kitchen and dining room make mealtimes a real treat. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. As a group of friends getting away from the city, it met all of our expectations.

We had a fabulous time at this historic hotel which was tastefully decorated in line with the age of the property. Could not fault the cleanliness of the place. The beds were so comfy with beautiful bed linen. Ample space in several sitting areas. Beautiful gardens. Ken and Mark, the owners were very obliging and accommodating with any query that we had. Thank you for a relaxing weekend. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A truly wonderful holiday experience in a warm and spotless facility with nothing lacking regarding kitchen , dining, lounge , bathroom , sleeping and entertaining equipment and appointments. The Eaglehawk was the perfect location for my 40th birthday weekend. We stayed as a group of friends for four days and held events across the weekend, including a large party on Saturday night. The hotel has excellent facilities for groups of all sizes and was incredibly comfortable...the beds are amazing! Communication with the owners was excellent and they were quick to respond to queries while we were staying. All of our guests loved the building and the decor and it was a perfect location to hold a 1920s themed party.

This property is beautifully restored and expertly equipped for any function or just a luxurious weekend away. The decor and art is phenomenal. I hosted a 40th bday party here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. Each room has its own unique character and charm - all offering different spaces that transform from day to night. Do yourself a favour and book this place.

Ken and Mark were great hosts, really helpful with the planning and their place is beautiful. Each room you walk into has a wow factor that just increases as you go through the house. We had our wedding here and all the guests and our photographer loved it. The beds have to be the most comfy we've ever slept on.

Perfect Getaway
The Eaglehawk Hotel was the perfect getaway for our group. A warm, welcoming place that was immaculately clean. The sunlit garden, conservatory and deck provided room to gather and enjoy the winter sun. The dining room (16 seat dining table) and bar area gave us spaces where we could enjoy being together whilst keeping our ‘social distancing’. The Eaglehawk is full of delightful surprises as you take in and enjoy the eclectic taste of the owners. The Eaglehawk has everything you need situated in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Maldon.

Rented this wonderful place for a function. Beautifully decorated, lovely large rooms, gorgeous garden very peaceful and relaxing. Bathrooms smell a little musty but it's an old building so not unusual. Had a great time.

Spent a weekend here in November 2016 and it was just lovely. Thinking of going back again and meeting up with some Melbourne based friends.

Eaglehawk Hotel was the cleanest place we have EVER stayed. Thank God finally someone knows how to clean and present their business. Everything was perfect, the service from the moment I walked in was wonderful, the location, the room. The bed was so comfortable. There is absolutely nothing I can fault. Finally a clean room, FINALLY. Thank you for giving us such a memorable weekend. I can't speak highly enough about our whole stay in Maldon.

We had the most wonderful weekend with the family. I couldn’t fault a thing, there was plenty of room to spread out and do your own thing. Everything you could possibly need was provided and so clean and fresh. I couldn’t recommend a stay here with a group of family or friends highly enough.
Don’t be put of by all the rules and regulations they are only there to look after what is a very special place. Thanks to the hosts who couldn’t have been nicer.

We are here now and this place is simply stunning. We absolutely love it. Going to be bpoking again for a family holiday. Plenty of space for the whole family. Clean , great furnishings and thoughtful finishing touches.
