Pho Xua. ( Old town)

Hands down the best Vietnamese we've eaten since being in Melbourne. The owner was lovely (sorry we did not ask her name) and the food was incredible. So fresh as you would expect from Vietnamese. And such nice tastes.

Place is super clean and nice interior design.

We will be coming back soon for sure!

Came here with mum for lunch on a cold day. Restaurant was warm & cosy. Had the crispy skin chicken soup & the braised beef soup. They were both delicious. Big servings, friendly staff & lots of natural light. Will definitely be back.

Recently opened venue with a lovely atmosphere. Food selection is some great interpretations of the Vietnamese classics and they taste wonderful. Service, Food & Drinks all consistent throughout several visits to this venue and can easily recommend this as a staple for repeat visits/meals.

Beautiful, friendly hospitality here, we felt so welcome and taken care of. It’s a great environment to be in too, lovely presentation and surroundings on Glenferrie Rd. The food was absolutely incredible and very reasonably priced. 10/10 will return!

LOVE this place. The food is so delicious, fresh, homemade and the flavor is incredible. I’ve eaten at the restaurant several times and everything we order is delicious. Have tried the glass noodles, pho, wonton soup—and the spring rolls are amazing!! Also have gotten takeaway and it’s so quick. Great service, the owners are super lovely and friendly. Will be back soon!

Absolutely love this place! Although it's on the higher end for price when it comes to Vietnamese food, it's SO worth it. The portion sizes are large, the food fresh and delicious, there's a good variety of options and the owner is absolutely amazing. My new favourite place to go!

Lovely place to have a bite, was served by a fine young gentlemen. Food is exquisite and a nice jazzy vibe.

Tonight we stopped at this restaurant and had a fabulous Vietnamese dinner..starting with the crispy anchovies and the battered soft shell crab...these were our waitress choices and they were perfect..followed with a glass of sauvignon blanc .The main course ,was of the Vietnamese chicken noodle soups. The servings were excellent..These were really good choices. The music was jazzy and the staff very friendly..well worth visiting this establishment for a great relaxed meal.

I have eaten several times at Pho Xua and the food is very good and not expensive. The Pho is excellent and very generous in its serving size.
I am a local so it is always great to find a restaurant of consistently high quality close to home.

I visited Pho Xua with my partner and we were both very pleased with our meals. We had the spring rolls, which delicious and quite unlike any other spring rolls I’ve had previously. My partner had a beef pho and I had a special duck soup with eggs noodles. The broth in the duck soup was rich, but not overwhelmingly so, and the duck just melted off the bone. My partner loved the pho also. We were both extremely satisfied with our choices. The service was impeccable. Jason and the rest of the staff were super helpful and lovely to chat to. Will definitely be making this a regular local visit.

Went to visit the place tonight, have to say the service is on point, staffs were friendly and nice. I asked for recommendations and they didn’t fail at surprising me. Food was really good, couldn’t ask for more, from the taste to portion, it was right on point. Had to address this again, that the staffs were very nice, friendly and helpful. Food didn’t take too long to come out, once they came out, we went straight in for it and it was like s*x in your mouth. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend! Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I’m Vietnamese myself and I can happily say it is true to the Vietnamese taste and authenticity. So tasty. Absolutely love the service, so genuine and friendly. Would come again!

5 stars for the owner being so caring to her customers. She does go out of her way to make customers happy and happily amswers questions about the menu. I had the prawn springroll salad and it was very delicious. Eill definitely go back

We had the chicken chilli with rice and the Vermicelli beef noodles. Both were great. We’ve tried most of the places up and down Glenferrie rd over the last 12 months and I’m happy to say it was the nicest meal. We will be back to try other dishes.

The food was, crunchy, sweet, salty and so fresh - just delicious. And the staff friendly and really helpful. Our family is coming back for sure!
